Okay, so the trailer for the Kylie Minogue Netflix documentary is here, and I have so many feelings right now. Like, I knew it was going to be emotional, but nobody warned me it would hit this hard in just two minutes.
The docuseries is called KYLIE, it’s three parts, and it’s basically giving you the unfiltered, no-holds-barred Kylie you’ve always wanted to see. Grab your tissues now because this thing drops May 20, 2026 and fans are simply not prepared!
She’s Opening the Vault — Like, Actually Opening It
For the first time, Kylie is letting you into her personal archives, and this means decades of never-before-seen home movies. But don’t go thinking this is just a greatest hits situation with sparkly outfits and bops on repeat. Nope.
This doc goes to the real places: the public scrutiny that wore her down, the personal losses, and most powerfully, her 2005 breast cancer battle. The trailer gets brutally honest about that chapter, and it stopped me cold.
Indeed, that’s the kind of rawness you don’t expect to see from someone who’s always been so put-together.

Her Inner Circle Finally Spills
The talking heads in this Kylie Minogue Netflix series are stacked. You’re getting her talented sister Dannii Minogue, Jason Donovan (yes, THAT Jason Donovan, her Neighbours co-star and ex), legendary producer Pete Waterman, and the one and only Nick Cave.
That lineup alone tells you this isn’t some surface-level cash grab. These are the people who actually know her, and from the looks of the trailer, they are not holding back!
Not Just Your Average Music Doc
Behind the camera, they’ve got John Battsek producing, and if that name means anything to you, then you already know this is going to be good. The guy has 13 documentary wins and an Oscar nomination, so yeah, you’re not in standard music biopic territory here.
This is a proper, deep-dive character study of a legendary singer who has faced it all and come out on top.
So… Are You Ready?
Whether you’ve been a stan since The Loco-Motion or you only recently got Padam Padam-pilled, the Kylie Minogue Netflix documentary is shaping up to be the definitive Kylie story. May 20 cannot come fast enough.
