La Zowi‘s “Sin Modales” (“Rough Manners” in English) is a valid criticism of the misogyny aspect in the Reggaeton industry. The Spanish-based artist condemns the issue of employing degrading language against women in sexist lyrics. Fortunately, female rappers like La Zowi form part of the evolution of this music style. Indeed, she’s breaking paradigms by showing off that there are new indie artists who are innovating the scene in different ways.
