Lego Machine Makes Electronic Music
Ph.D student Alex Allmont is a full-time coder and a long-time Lego fan. All those things come together in his latest creation, a fantastically complex Lego machine that churns out electronic music!
The Lego machine plays sounds based on the drums and notes particular to the Roland TB303, the synth responsible for Acid House music.
“Play House”, as he calls it, was built for AudioGraft, an experimental music festival in Oxford, England, and now this invention has become an Internet sensation! Watch the video below, I love this toy… hehehe.
