Expedition
Skytech
returns to CYB3RPVNK with an end-of-summer Electro House gem in the form of new release “Expedition” that continues to impress and inspire us. The Polish DJ and producer never fails to prove his dynamic production abilities, always coming to the table with complex influences of progressive, bog room, and bass that are seamlessly interwoven into every track. “Expedition” delivers a steadily building bassline that leads into a massive percussive drop, which is then polished off with energetic synths and a catchy vocal riff. All these elements combine to make “Expedition” a track that will light up dance floors around the globe. The new release follows Skytech’s single “Touching Me” with DNF, also on CYB3RPVNK, from earlier this summer.

Mateusz Dziewulski – better known by his artist name Skytech – is already a household name in his home country of Poland, and the rest of the world is soon to follow. His name first appeared on the map when R3HAB discovered his original track “Tiger” and then helped Skytech to put final production touches on it, proving to be a winning team after “Tiger” skyrocketed to millions of streams on all platforms. Since then, the two have worked on numerous tracks together via the CYB3RPVNK imprint, such as “Fuego,” “What You Do,” “Hyperspace,” “Starflight,” and more, fusing their sounds to make music that is club and festival-friendly while never sacrificing substance and soul. Since then, Skytech has been touring around the world, increasing his global footprint with every electrifying live performance. In 2017, he was the most-streamed Polish act on Spotify and debuted at Tomorrowland, while in 2018 he came in a close second on the Polish Spotify charts right after Frideric Chopin. Follow Skytech and the rest of CYB3RPVNK’s talented crew to see what they are up to!

Innovation is the best word that describes Valentino Khan‘s EP, ‘French Fried’. This 4-track material is filled with dance floor rhythms. A new addition to the Mad Decent family you won’t want to miss. Best of all, it’s now available on all streaming platforms.

According to the producer himself, the whole tracks are inspired by French artists that set an important precedent in America’s electronic music. More specifically, he’s borrowing a similar sonic aesthetic by the likes of Gesaffelstein and SebastiAn. In fact, this European stylistic trend represents an influence in Valentino’s edgy sound and vision to date.

Following two official remixes for DJ Snake, Valentino isn’t letting anything stop him this year. Make sure you check out the ‘French Fried’ EP, turn up the volume and destroy some speakers so that your neighbors can hear it!

You Can’t Get Bored! Mou5ZyZZ Unleashes “Melbourne Overdose”

Melbourne Overdose
Listening to music is a good thing to do when you’re bored. Of course, I would only recommend infectious tunes like “Melbourne Overdose”. This is the latest single from the one and only, Mou5ZyZZ in collaboration with Yago Music. The American DJ and producer experiments for the very first time with a subgenre of Electro House known as Melbourne Bounce.

On the one hand, pumping minimal beats, sidechained synths, and lively drops are the highlights here. While on the other, vocals match the high-level production. On a side note, compelling lyrics fantasize about hooking up with a stranger and the mystery that this implies.

Out now via Mou5 Chee5e Records, this fresh jam makes you want to do the shuffle dance, so put your foot forward and keep spinning non-stop. Get ready to distract your mind from boredom and stream in full “Melbourne Overdose” right away.

DØBER Returns To Protocol With Riding Tech/Electro-Influenced “Tear The Roof”

DØBER Returns To Protocol With Riding Tech/Electro-Influenced "Tear The Roof"
DØBER is back on Protocol with his new single “Tear The Roof”, a party-ready track that follows up on his debut “Twisted” EP from earlier this year. The release received a strong welcome, amassing over 130k streams on Spotify since its release on February 14th. The newcomer’s propensity for intense club music, that toes the line between electro and tech-house, is once again evident in the form of heavy percussive synths over a driving bassline and distorted, catchy vocals. “Tear The Roof” is uniquely different from previous tracks “Make It Better” and “Losing My Mind,” which channeled more groovy and trap influences, respectively, indicating that DØBER has more up his sleeve than meets the eye.

Nicky Romero and the Protocol crew can always be counted on for cutting-edge new music, melding a variety of genres for exciting and unexpected sounds. Their latest additions feel right at home with that mantra, bringing a fusion of tech-house and electro sound with plenty of grooves to the table. DØBER joins a full roster of talented producers such as Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, Marc Benjamin, Teamworx, Maximals, and more. The talented newcomer draws his inspiration from artists such as Dogblood, ZHU, and Gesaffelstein, promising plenty of dark, hard-hitting tunes to add to the label’s repertoire. Protocol’s mixture of veteran heavyweights and fresh new talent makes for some of the most exciting releases in the game, along with the unlimited potential for collaborations. We look forward to more releases from DØBER and the rest of the Protocol team coming soon!
