Recently, the transformation of the legendary Parisian concert hall L’Olympia surprised many citizens. Although it is still partial, the modernisation brought a new Electro/EDM temple for the locals’ entertainment. The program speaks for itself, with more and more DJs and live acts proudly displayed in red letters on the front.

This did not start yesterday. We remember that Carl Cox had transformed the L’Olympia into a Techno  dancefloor in the mid-2000s. Also, Martin Solveig, did the same in 2008. Everything accelerated in 2015 and the coming months tend to confirm it. The start of the year saw the Hungry Music label take possession of the premises, DJ Snake chose Olympia to exult his very many fans on 21 February. Live electro projects such qu’Odesza Moderat and it will produce in the spring … In short, electro loops become commonplace. In addition, on April 2, the Olympic pia announced it would begin a night-oriented programming “club” from midnight to dawn. What therefore assume more openness to electronic music.
