Major Lazer just proved they’re not slowing down anytime soon. The genre-bending crew unleashes their newest EDM Latin banger, “pAPi wiTH tOKisCha,” featuring the popular Dominican singer. Best of all, it’s shaping up to be one of the summer’s biggest club records.
Here’s a track that’s 100% bilingual, blending verses in English and Spanish that invite you to let loose and have the time of your life. All wrapped up in that playful, daring style only Tokischa knows how to pull off.
A Long Tease Before The Drop
This one didn’t just come out of nowhere. Actually, Major Lazer started previewing the EDM Latin crossover at shows around the world, including a impromptu set in an abandoned lot in Miami for just 200 lucky ravers.
That kind of grassroots buildup is rare these days, and it made the eventual release feel like a payoff fans had been waiting for.
Moreover, Tokischa first brought the song to life live at Major Lazer’s headline Ultra Music Festival set. Things got even bigger from there, with a surprise Coachella appearance in front of over 80,000 fans, confirming this team-up has real staying power.
The Music Video Captures The Chaos
The visuals match the jam’s energy just as hard as the sound does. Major Lazer and Tokischa headed deep into the desert during Coachella to film the official music video, directed by Cambron Lyles and Alex Ferzan.
Plus, it also includes footage from that earlier Miami pop-up. The result blends the chaos of an underground DJ set where party animals completely lose their minds, swept up in the infectious rhythm and Tokischa’s balls-to-the-wall performance.

A Massive Year For Major Lazer
“pAPi wiTH tOKisCha” isn’t happening in isolation. Major Lazer has been on an absolute tear in 2026. Earlier this year, the group delivered a centerpiece performance at the Closing Ceremony of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
Not to mention, they linked with Nelly Furtado and Davido for “No Place Like Home,” an official anthem tied to the FIFA World Cup, with Davido later joining them onstage at the tournament’s Countdown Concert in Los Angeles.
Bottom line, this EDM Latin collab with Tokischa fits right into a year where Major Lazer has been showing up on some of the biggest stages on the planet.
And the formula behind this new hit is obviously that fierce, unapologetic vocal delivery paired with electrifying beats that adds up to pure fire!
