Manuel De La Mare- Club Around The World [REVIEW]

Published

on

Manuel De La Mare is an Italian DJ who is gaining terrain in the world of House music. This year he released a mix compilation album entitled ‘Club Around The World’. This album includes a total of 15 songs, all of them mixed professionally by De La Mare. This compilation album is ideal if you want to make a sporadic party at your house. All the tracks will make you feel like if you were in a real club. These songs were harmonically mixed and none of them are boring at all.
Bingo Players- Cry Just A Little (Original Mix)
Who hasn´t listen it? This track was considered by a lot of DJs as the summer anthem of 2011. A good track to get the party on!
Stefano Noferini- My Forbidden Game (Original Mix)
A maximal minimal Tech House song that serves as the second track of this mix compilation album.
Manuel De La Mare vs. Lissat & Voltaxx- Club Around The World (David Amo & Julio Navas Remix)
On this song you’ll learn more about the best-known places of this world. It´s like a tribute to international clubs and discotheques.
Fedde Le Grand- METM (Original Mix)
This song seems to be part of the Tron Legacy film soundtrack, it’s dark and futuristic.
Peter Golderblom- Waiting 4 (Manuel De La Mare Remix)
Manuel De La Mare shows his remixing skills and transform a Red Hot Chili Peppers’ classic into a Rock & Roll House banger!
Jon Craig- Breaking Up (Crazibiza Remix)
I’m a big fan of Crazibiza pumping House productions, this remix is of course funky and danceable.
Selda- Lift Your Hands Up (DJ PP Remix)
This Vocal House track is fun and catchy, a very cool remix done by DJ PP.
Alex Kenji & Federico Scavo- Get Funky (Original Mix)
I would describe this song as “unique”, get ready to get funky and get down till you can´t stop!
Nicky Romero- Solar (Original Mix)
This track enters in the category of Progressive House, it includes some tribal sounds.
Sander Van Doorn- Love Is Darkness (Manuel De La Mare Remix)
Acid House music and a lot of craziness that will make you shake your ass!
King Richard & Danny Torrence- Stupidisco (Original Mix)
An excellent club anthem ★★★★
Casanovy- Need Your Lovin’ (Sean Finn Remix)
A sexy Vocal House tune, some parts of it, reminds me of soulful singer Sade.
Daniel Dub- Sinnerman (Original Mix)
Repetitive piano melody + delicious House beats.
Tom Hangs feat. Shermanology- Blessed (Avicii Edit)
Whether you like Avicii or not, this song is wonderful!
Mory Kante vs. Love Sh Uk!- Yeke Yeke (Robbie Rivera Remix)
The last track of this compilation is a remix by the talented Robbie Rivera, who adds the latin flavour on music.

Majestique – Overload EP
Coming off the back of the widespread success of previous collection ‘Science Of The Heart’ comes the latest EP from electronic duo Majestique – who bring a bit of 80’s magic to their sounds of now. Once again to be released through the effortlessly cool, quality platform that is Dirty Soul Recordings, ‘Overload’ will land on September 23rd.

Spanning four tracks in length and piling on atmospheric and melodic energy throughout, the hazy trickles of ‘Moonlight’ kick-start this tracklist. With gliding analogue chords moving against mere snatches of vocals, this one grows with groove and subtle funk elements.

Kove – Nightfires Vol.2 [REVIEW]

Published

kove
Kove is back with the latest installment of his club-focused EP series, ‘Nightfires’. Using the series to delve deeper into a pure, musical sound, Kove says of his latest EP, “I wanted to take inspiration from my rock roots, trying to play as many parts as possible on the guitar or bass, and bringing more aggression into the tunes. I’ve also tried to branch out lyrically, incorporating some darker themes. “

‘Nightfires Vol.1’, landed with a bang back in April and gained strong, specialist support across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. ‘Vol. 2’ out now, is further evidence of Kove’s unique and breath-taking diversity, a talent who continues to defy musical boundaries and garner widespread support from his peers.

In Review: åMBe - 'Enemy of the People' EP
The haunting and futuristic music from the ‘Enemy of the People’ EP by åMBe, will surprise more than one! Born in a small village in Russia, and being keen on music since she was a child, allowed her to become a skilful artist. I would even call her as the new promising icon of the Indie/Electronica scene. The ‘Enemy of the People’ EP features a total of eight tracks, and it will be released officially in late September. She’s definitely a creative lady with out-of-the-box ideas… For the most part, the EP is made of avant-garde songs, and you will love her style if you’re also a fan of Bjork or Kate Bush. Here’s the world-exclusive track-by-track review:

1 – IDCNM (I Don’t Care No More)  Let’s all take an experimental musical journey with åMBe. You’ll be fascinated in the way she combines the quasi-operatic soprano female vocals with delicacy across the entire song. (Available now via SoundCloud)

2 – Under Waterskin Everything flows with åMBe’s sensual singing on this particular tune. Integrating a slow tempo that creates also a very organic beauty, and making you feel in a new dimension.

3 – Ache Here she performs her music in a loose way, and the song could be catalogued as radio-friendly. I’m loving the freshness of this Indie-Pop track.

4 – Peeler  In my opinion, this song has a dark touch. A provocative mix of drama and in general it will leave you feeling as if walls are closing in on you. Bringing curious experimentalism directly to our ears.

5 – Little Grain I like åMBe’s expressive voice along with the guitar chords. What a tune! The artist showcases a refreshingly innovative style full of erotism.

6 – Monster (mini.mono.opera) Once again, I love the vocal technique that makes her sound like a professional opera singer + the electronic melodic rhythms is a powerful advantage. At this point she has proven to be extremely talented.

7 – Of Your Crimes A song that starts out with lovely violin notes. It could perfectly be a James Bond theme song. So far, this is another valuable and strong track off the ‘Enemy of the People’ EP that would be a great promotional single and this is of course my favorite one!

8 – I Don’t Care No More (acoustic) An alternative version, where we can appreciate clearer lyrics and her vocal range as well. Overall, a highly recommended EP from a talented artist. A voice we are lucky to have! This material showed me there’s more to music than four-to-the-floor dance music beats.
