Martone has made quite a name for himself in the industry with his danceable music. Today, he took to social media to announce the upcoming release of “Love Out Loud”, the first single from his fifth album ‘Erogenous Zone’. He started working on this material some years ago after the Orlando Nightclub Massacre.
House music icons like Arnold Jarvis and Kerri Chandler inspired the artist; however, his biggest motivation is LOVE. According to Martone, no matter what sexual orientation you have, people deserve to live freely and be proud of themselves, which I agree 100%.
Incorporating his love for anime, the accompanying music video comes in a family-friendly format. Personally, I feel everyone can connect with it while listening to its feel-good melody. Hopefully, it can become the next pride anthem or even a housey summer hit in the charts. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and expect its official worldwide premiere on May 31st.
I was lucky enough to listen to the full audio stream. My very first impression on “Love Out Loud” is that it carries a powerful message, which encourages us to be authentic. He brings back the classic House sound with an infectious beat. But most importantly, lyrics are super empowering. While it is true the phrase “Be Yourself!” is a cliché, we still need artists like Martone to help us remember that love always wins.
