Philadelphia’s own “Phresh”, Douglas Chamberlin Moore, is a solo musical artist well known for his “Phillies Be Killin Em” anthem during the 2011 MLB post-season. He is an Upper Darby High School & Temple University graduate. Over the years, Phresh has been in several bands and rap groups, and collaborated with numerous artists. More recently, Phresh writes and performs his own unique acoustic/hip-hop style of music, seen in songs such as “Stop Drinkin’” and the “Sea Isle City Song”. Phresh’s style is fun, somewhat gritty, and often humorous generally touching on themes about life, partying, drinking, and his love for Philadelphia sports teams. Lately Phresh has been collaborating with long-time friends from “The Social Cynic”. Look out for Phresh in local venues, in a bar around the city, or tail-gating at a Phillies game. Keep your eye out on his Youtube channel “sophillysophresh”, and on The Social Cynic’s site for upcoming music and events. Big things are coming soon.
