Mr. G Sings and his "Plan B” on Dirty Soul

Release DateOut now

Greg Fitzgerald is no stranger to crafting hits – just not under his own name. Chances are you have sung in the shower or rocked out in the club to one of the songs he produced with megastars like Kylie Minogue and Jessica Simpson. The UK producer has a multitude of phenomenal talents; he bridges the musical spectrum from composing to songwriting to singing with effortless finesse. Greg is the mastermind behind such smashes as the title track from Kylie Minogue’s “Fever” album, which went on to sell 8 million copies worldwide, as well as Jessica Simpson’s sultry “Forbidden Fruit.” He even co-wrote Madonna’s “Revenge” with the legendary siren herself and fellow producer Rick Nowels.

Having worked with some of the best in the industry, Fitzgerald eventually started producing music under his own moniker, Mr. G Sings. Fitzgerald’s personal sound is sophisticated deep house with an uplifting vocal twist, which is evidenced in his newest single “Plan B.” This is a groovy and feel-good tune that is also melodically profound, giving it a unique refined quality that separates amateurs from experts in this industry. “Plan B” is out on Dirty Soul Music, which has a roster filled with melodic house artists such as Bakermat, MK, and A*M*E. Fitzgerald has been consistent in this approach to his productions thus far; his last release, “The Caged Bird Sings,” was released on Ultra Records and kept a congruent vibe throughout. With the rising popularity of “chill out house,” there is no better time for Greg Fitzgerald to emerge from the shadows of producing and into the limelight of his own accord. Press play on “Plan B” and let your worries instantly subside.

Tishmal And Marc Benjamin
For his final release of the year, Marc Benjamin returns to Protocol Recordings with “Blinded By Your Light, a Deep/Progressive House gem featuring Los Angeles based artist Tishmal. Marc employs his signature dynamic style by opening with piano melodies underneath ethereal vocals, which build into rolling basslines, that culminate in a bouncy breakdown. “Blinded By Your Light” plays both to the dancefloor and to the listener’s emotions with its combination of groovy instrumental elements and soulful lyrics, bridging the gap between radio and club-ready with ease. The track marks Benjamin’s third single on Protocol in 2020, following this summer’s “Burn” with Victor Tellagio. On the way he has also released on Axtone, Revealed, Hexagon, Heartfelt, and many more, continuing to expand his reach and evolve his style.

Nicky Romero and the Protocol crew can always be counted on for cutting-edge new music, melding a variety of genres for exciting and unexpected sounds. Their new additions feel right at home with that mantra, bringing a medley of big-room, trap, future bass, and house to the imprint’s already robust mix while still pumping out plenty of classic progressive jams. Veteran producer Marc Benjamin has a reputable taste for impeccable productions, evidenced in his successful previous collaborations with heavyweights Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, and Yves V, and his remixes of Zedd’s worldwide hits “The Middle” and “Happy Now.” He’s performed around the world, including Ultra Bali, a 5-year residency at Amsterdam’s club Escape, and released on Spinnin’ Records and Steve Angello’s Size Records, Heldeep, and more. Benjamin’s dynamic productions have piqued the attention of industry A-list artists such as Tiesto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello, and Avicii. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, 2020 has proven to be an impactful year for Marc Benjamin, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for his future.

“Fool For You” By Joe Falduto Is Bound To Make Waves On Spotify

Joe Falduto
is a 27-year-old music producer from Chicago. Sooner or later, his attention-grabbing single “Fool For You” is about to reach 10K streams on Spotify. I think many agree this sound has the potential to become a Deep House hit. Moreover, Summer Haze really elevates the song substantially with her sultry vocals. This is why I can feel the sincerity and the emotions behind the crude lyrics. Besides the driving basslines, there are rich piano chords throughout the whole sonic gem. Joe is highly influenced by Kaskade’s Redux project, therefore, he takes listeners to the heart of classical-inspired dance cuts. With such a good balance between chill and melodic rhythms, “Fool For You” is also the perfect addition to sunrise sets everywhere. Check this out.
