Munatix Delivers Raw Rock Energy With Single “Hots For You”

Get ready to rock! Munatix, known for their vintage retro Electro sound, are breaking out of their Synthpop comfort zone with the release of their new single, “Hots For You,” on Friday, January 3rd, 2025.

This high-octane track marks a significant departure from Munatfoix’s signature sound, embracing a raw, guitar-driven style reminiscent of legendary bands like AC/DC, Scorpions, and Van Halen. The driving force behind “Hots For You” is a powerful riff that band member Josh conceived 30 years ago, a testament to its enduring power.

“We’ve always been known for our retro Synthpop, but we’ve been itching to unleash this raw Rock energy for a long time,” says Josh. “This riff has been simmering in my head for decades, and we finally decided to give it the spotlight it deserves.”

“Hots For You” showcases the vocal prowess of singer Ricky, who delivers a gritty and powerful performance that perfectly complements the song’s hard-hitting sound. The accompanying music video features a guest appearance by drummer Sloocer and sees the band members dressed in black, performing against a stark white backdrop.

A unique highlight of the video is the inclusion of the exact same red Roland GR-707 guitar used by Liliane Saint-Pierre during her 1987 Eurovision Song Contest performance. This historic instrument adds a touch of intrigue and nostalgia to the visual presentation.
