Munatix Unveils ‘Retrofied’ Album After Viral Depeche Mode Cover

Genk-based Synthpop band Munatix is celebrating the release of their long-awaited debut album ‘Retrofied’ with an exclusive CD release on Friday, April 26, 2024. The album, influenced by great artists like Giorgio Moroder, Jean-Michel Jarre, Erasure, and Depeche Mode, features 12 original tracks showcasing Munatix’s unique sound.

These guys have already enjoyed a viral boost in recent weeks with their Instagram cover of Depeche Mode‘s “Just Can’t Get Enough.” The video has been viewed over 250,000 times and liked over 10,000 times, indicating significant interest in the band’s music.

‘Retrofied’ is more than just a debut album; it’s a love letter to the Synthpop music of the 80s. The catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and nostalgic soundscapes are sure to appeal to fans of electronic music and retro enthusiasts alike.
