ORO preserves their cutting-edge sound approach of EDM poured into Pop music. The current formula seems to work on “Hold Up”, their second single released on Higher Reign/Sony Canada.
Definitely, the way these guys start this song is captivating, with a sample of a finger snap that drew my attention from the start. Subsequently, it transforms into a vocal-driven track, and the lyrics resemble an emotional story.
But for a production that clearly wants to sound electronic, they have blended some big drops in the mix. “Hold Up” features everything you’d expect from innovative minds. Stream in full right here!
