Phantom Boy Really Wants You To “Listen To The Music” 🎧

Phantom Boy Really Wants You To "Listen To The Music"
Phantom Boy
moves into a new artistic phase as an EDM producer. The first single of 2020 is called “Listen To The Music”. Without a doubt, he brings a fresh concept that has a different flavor than his usual Latin hits. On this occasion, he didn’t lay down his vocals to the composition, on the contrary, he collaborates with a female singer whose style fits either clubs or a radio-friendly atmosphere. One does not have to be very bold to predict Phantom Boy wants to conquer the European music market through electronic-oriented rhythms and subtle nuances of Pop. All in all, it’s a four-minute pleasurable jam that will stick in the mind of any listener due to the bass drops, chorus, bouncy synths, and progressive chords. Listen in full below.

Nicky Romero And Timmy Trumpet Join Forces For Club Track "Falling"
After releasing his dance-pop crossover earlier this month, Nicky Romero returns to heavier beats on his new single “Falling”. Romero teamed up with fellow dance music veteran Timmy Trumpet for the track, which delivers all the elements of a tried and tested club anthem. Opening with enthusiastic melodies and soaring vocals, “Falling” kicks into high gear at a heart-pounding 138 beats per minute during its crescendo. Romero and Trumpet have already tested it out in their live sets, including during their b2b during ADE 2019 and at Echostage in Washington, DC, to rave reactions. This is a track for fans craving a classic party starter as well as new listeners waiting for an introduction to real club life. Let’s hope this isn’t the only collaboration we get from these two talented artists this year.

After taking the world by storm with early hits such as “Legacy” (with Krewella) and #1 single “I Could Be The One” (with Avicii), Nicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. After launching his Protocol Recordings imprint in 2012, the renowned performer, producer, and label head continued his personal successes with a string of high-profile releases, ranging from collabs with Mike Williams & Amba Shepherd, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W&W, DallasK & XYLØ and Steve Aoki & Kiiara to remixes for the likes of Kygo, Rita Ora, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne and more. All the while showcasing his label’s roster via his weekly Protocol Radio show, Nicky Romero continues to touch down across the globe for his incredible live performances, including residencies at Las Vegas’ Hakkasan and Omnia and his annual performance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Timmy Trumpet is a multi-platinum artist who most recently showcased his “World At Our Feet” world tour with over 60 dates and hosted stages at Tomorrowland and Creamfields. He will also be a special guest on Steve Aoki’s upcoming “Neon Future IV” tour across North America. With exciting collaborations like “Falling” now under their belt, rest assured that this is bound to be a huge year for both Nicky Romero and Timmy Trumpet.

Yellow Claw’s “Supernoize”, 1st Single From Forthcoming ‘Hard In Bangkok’ Album

Published

Yellow Claw
Barong Family’s driving force Yellow Claw just dropped “Supernoize” with Juyen Sebulba, featuring RayRay – the premier single from the label’s upcoming ‘Hard In Bangkok’ album, scheduled for a release in late March. The Dutch duo holds nothing back in this hard-hitting bomb of a track, which delivers a relentless bassline and assaulting synths from start to finish. “Supernoize” is primed for the club and festival circuit; you can almost imagine the Barong crew heading out into the balmy Bangkok lights for a night of hedonism. The forthcoming LP was made during Barong Family’s five-day studio camp in Thailand’s capital city, where fourteen international artists came together to create an inspiring creative space, make great music together, and document everything in the form of photos and videos. ‘Hard In Bangkok’, as a result of the artists’ gathering, will feature 20 new tracks from such artists as Rawtek, Nonsens, Stoltenhoff, Lil Texas, LNY TNZ, and more, as well as fresh sounds from Yellow Claw themselves, including the brand new “Supernoize”.

Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis are the talented duo behind Yellow Claw, the electronic music artist project that has been changing the game in bass music since 2013. Their heavy, hip-hop-influenced, and club-ready sound began on their early tracks like “DJ Turn It Up” and “In My Room” ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga – which collectively are about to surpass 300M streams on Spotify alone. Yellow Claw’s 2015’s debut album “Blood For Mercy” hit #1 on Billboard’s Heat Seekers Chart, Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, and scored an Edison Award – the Dutch equivalent of GRAMMY. They haven’t slowed down since, with a packed tour calendar that included last year’s epic takeover of the LA’s iconic Shrine Auditorium to a crowd of 7K people, and their work with Barong Family label. Juyen Sebulba is one of the artists who found a home on Barong after working alongside Yellow Claw, Laidback Luke, and Good Times Ahead as well as producing official remixes for DJ Snake, Boys Noize and Major Lazer, and releasing on Diplo’s Mad Decent and Mixmash. Taiwanese RayRay’s reputation for injecting a savage signature sound into her music floated past the ears of Yellow Claw, who signed RayRay to Barong Family in 2018. She performed at such major events as ADE, SXSW, Glastonbury, Sonar Music Festival, and released on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, and Spinnin’ Records. Stay tuned for more tracks from ‘Hard In Bangkok’ coming soon to see what’s next from the Barong Family’s crew.

R3HAB Turns Up The Heat On Remix Of Steve Aoki & Maluma's "Maldad"
If you’re in need of a track to spice up your date night, look no further than R3HAB‘s new remix of Steve Aoki and Maluma‘s “Maldad”. Delivering a more melodic take on the original, R3HAB incorporates deep, bouncy basslines into the track’s Latin-inspired melodies, which complement Maluma’s sultry vocals with dancefloor-ready energy. “Maldad” is the second time that Aoki and R3HAB have remixed each other, after Steve’s remix of R3HAB & ZAYN & Jungleboi’s “Flames” dropped in January. It’s always a good time when these two heavyweights join forces, so let’s hope some more exciting collaborations between R3HAB and Steve Aoki are coming this year!

“This one was fun. With 2 great names like Steve Aoki & Maluma, it’s always an honor to remix a track. Steve and I go way back, of course, and Maluma stands for everything that is cool about Latin artists these days. The combination is great, and I tried to give the song R3HAB’s flavor in the remix, which I think works well. Enjoy!” – R3HAB

Over the last eight years, the Dutch/Moroccan artist Fadil El Ghoul – better known as R3HAB – has established himself as a leader at the forefront of modern electronic music. His talent has been called the “future of the craft” by the likes of Forbes and Billboard, and he’s circuited the globe’s best clubs and festivals, all without the backing of a formal record label. In 2017, R3HAB independently released his debut album “Trouble” through his imprint CYB3RPVNK, which amassed over a half-billion streams globally and officially placed R3HAB among electronic music’s heavy hitters. He made number 14 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list in 2019, topping the charts with tracks like “Lullaby” and “Hold On Tight,” while his sophomore album “The Wave,” revealing more complex, emotional and experimental layers of himself, has amassed over 250 million streams on Spotify alone. In 2019 R3HAB’s “All Around The World” with A Touch of Class quickly became his biggest ever record already topping 200M streams across platforms and achieving gold & platinum status in 8 countries. Stay tuned to see what this ever-evolving artist has up his sleeve next!
