Stream PhantomSoul‘s new song taken from their 7-track album ‘Oblivion I’. In my opinion, the Production duo is confident in their sound, which has a pinch of genuine Soul music. Sonically, they can be compared to Massive Attack meets The Weekend with a hint of Sting. Definitely, with “Oblivion”, these guys excel in songwriting because lyrics perfectly illustrate emotions and anguish. Of course, it’s there where the song’s effectiveness really takes hold. Not to mention, the lead singer sings like he’s personally sharing an intimate tale with listeners. For instance, with lines like, ‘Take me to oblivion, my enemy my friend’, along with a blast of violins, the whole composition navigates through an intense journey. Check this out!
