PLS&TY Releases Multifaceted, Travel-Inspired EP ‘3 Days, 2 Nights’
PLS&TY has been teasing his ‘3 Days, 2 Nights’ EP nearly all spring and summer so far, and now fans can enjoy the full spectrum of his light-to-dark sounds with its official full release. While it features previously released tracks “Party In My Head” with Lost Boy, and “New Color” on the daytime side, the deeper, more underground-sounding songs came in the form of “Yours” with Tudor, and “Upside,” featuring Ben Samama. PLS&TY now also includes 2 brand new tracks exclusive to the EP. “Limit” rides on euphonious melodies and an organic, rolling bassline for a groovy and easy-listening record, while “Echoes” opens with cinematic melodies and mesmerizing vocals for a euphoric transition from the beach to the dance floor. The EP makes a strong statement that PLS&TY can’t be put in a box of sounds or genres, and we can’t wait to ride along for the rest of his upward journey this year. As the ‘3 Days, 2 Nights’ project unveils, each song and album cover take inspiration from the day and night motifs/themes of the EP titling, progressing in the order of the tracklisting from day to night. There is something for everyone here – music for all moods, places, seasons, and times. The project stands on new ground for the direction of PLS&TY original music moving forward – born out of a place of freedom to create without bounds or borders, or in an attempt to fit the confines of a particular genre that fans may have previously known me for. Like a technicolor dream, the song paints vivid images of laughter, sun-drenched afternoons, and endless possibilities. Each note was a brushstroke, every lyric a stroke of nostalgia’s brush.
