Published

on

house party remixes
Following his highly anticipated ‘House Party’ EP from last year, Valentino Khan is back with a star-studded remix version of the release. The first interpretation of Valentino’s original work comes from the future house pioneer Tchami himself, who brings his signature sound to Khan and Diplo’s “JustYourSoul.” Trading heavy bass for groovy melodies and bouncy breakdowns, Tchami delivers a remix that will set the late night club dance floors on fire. The full remix EP, set for a release on January 24, includes additional guest appearances, that will be revealed in the following weeks, running the gamut from funky house to electro and bass. Stay tuned for the rest of the releases and names dropping soon!

STREAM/DOWNLOAD

The world was introduced to LA-based DJ and producer Valentino Khan in 2014, when he burst onto the scene with his debut EP “In Khan We Trust” on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. Khan’s sound possessed a unique versatility, incorporating elements of trap, bass, hardstyle, house and more into a driving, often heavy sound that found homes on labels such as Mad Decent, Spinnin Records, and Ultra. In 2015, Khan’s original track “Deep Down Low” became an international sensation, earning the title of “Most Played Track” of the year and topping Sirius XM’s #1 Song of 2015 on Electric Area. Since then, he has earned a reputation as a remix master with official renditions of RL Grime’s “Pressure,” Alison Wonderland’s “Good Enough,” Calvin Harris’s “One Kiss” and more. His original productions include “Pump,” which has over 17M streams on Spotify, “Gold” with Sean Paul, as well as production credits for the likes of 2 Chainz, B.O.B., Dizzee Rascal, Iggy Azalea, T.I. and more. On the touring front, Khan sold out his show at the iconic Hollywood Palladium this year, featuring a b2b set with Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel) and a surprise appearance by legend Snoop Dogg. 2020 is already shaping up to be the year of Valentino Khan, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.

SUPER Afro House Live Session By Israel Kimchi & Gilad Dobrecky
Discover here the real Afro House sound! Israel Kimchi joined forces with Gilad Dobrecky to record a captivating live session which has garnered more than 12,000 views on YouTube. Believe it or not, the whole DJ filmset is spontaneous as these guys never spent time on rehearsals nor preparations. Furthermore, I hope you enjoy how they experiment with a wide range of percussions that carry a fairly organic feel. Naturally, magical drums serve as a complement to the electronic beats. As usual, Israel incorporates into his mix his personal selection of rich sonic textures and dynamism. Likewise, you can tell this is such a good example of high-energy performance by watching the clip below. Without any doubt, these artists should consider collaborating once again for the next chapter.

Adam Davenport's Latest "Hype" Is A New House Classic
Adam Davenport
is no stranger to making good bangers. On this occasion, he goes far beyond the limits of the conventional and creates something that feels like a House classic. Of course, I’m talking about his 4th single, “Hype”, which will surely rock underground and commercial clubs with its sexy warm vibe. There’s no denying Adam’s seductive vocals evoke sensual undertones that revolve around hedonism. This is why this tune will transport you back to the early days of House…

On a side note, several labels wanted to sign this bass-driven track. Nevertheless, HouseSession, a German label known as the mirror of dance music evolution welcomes it. Moreover, this is another collaborative track with Jordi Coenradie, who also co-wrote “What’s The Matter With You”. In fact, Adam’s previous single was on the first round Grammy nominating ballot for Best Dance Recording this year. So, it’s not surprising why “Hype” could be a win any night of the week. Stay tuned for more exciting news below.

Deadly Medley
creates a French House remix of Clean Bandit’s 2017 hit “Symphony”. This great rendition to the British band begins with filter/phaser effects. Moreover, Zara Larsson’s vocals sound way different from the original version. Consequently, the Canadian producer makes a difference as it feels like a brand new track from start to finish. Perhaps, the most impressive thing is the feel-good vibe the whole jam exudes, putting listeners in a relaxed mood. Without any exaggeration, Deadly Medley brings us something ready to ignite dance floors or even bedrooms. Press play and enjoy a brief moment of happiness.
