Canadian producer Tony Romanello is back with a new release on Red Channel label. The two-track EP ‘Higher Ground’ burst into energetic and groovy dance music for the clubs. On the whole, repetitive and hypnotic loops will keep your feet moving. In addition, there is no question the 4/4 kick formula works pretty well on “Right Here”, which is highly influenced by the Detroit Techno and Chicago House sound. On the other hand, “I Heard You” features chopped diva vocals while exploding punchy beats and immersive synths. Sincerely, I’m not sorry for going crazy with these brilliant tunes on Xmas! 😛

Cityzen Unleashes Quarantine-Themed Debut EP “Be At Home”
After releasing several hard-hitting, dance floor ready new tracks this summer, Cityzen packages them up with something brand new as the release of his quarantine-themed “Be At Home” EP. The five-track collection features tracks that will get your feet moving in every way, including previous singles “Party Instruction,” “Rave Tech Repeat,” “Watch Me,” and “U Need More.” The mysterious producer also gives fans a brand new track to be excited about – “Insane,” a tech-house driven banger that perfectly suits the vibe of the EP. Delivering a bouncy, four-on-the-floor bassline and distorted vocals, “Insane” will make you dance no matter where you’re listening to it, which, these days, is likely at home. Cityzen made the “Be At Home” EP during the global pandemic to give listeners a dose of positivity in dark times, and we dare say he’s accomplished his mission.
Although not much is known about Cityzen yet, we can be extremely positive about three noticeable attributes: his affinity for the color red, unique glasses, and his desire to give people the intense beats that one would imagine hearing on the metallic streets of a futuristic metropolitan. Perhaps Cityzen can live in the past and the future at the same time, giving him the ability to merge vintage hardware like Moog synthesizers with futuristic house rhythms of the modern age. His sound continues to evolve with every newly released track, from his debut single “Sirius” to the most recent “U Need More.” Cityzen is on the verge of something huge and previously unimagined – and all the world can do is wait. Armed with his sparkling glasses and affinity for the color red, Cityzen brings to life a crossover of old and new that will become the unique sound of the next generation.
