GIO is a 19-year-old promising talent from Kansas City based in Los Angeles. His debut album ‘G STAR’ offers Hip-Hop and R&B, but it is also compromised of Pop sensibility. That being said, this new powerful record draws influence from an array of radio-friendly genres. Without a doubt, he redefines an era for a new wave of independent artists who are passionate about music.
In my opinion, there are so many songs that could become commercial hits, but my favorite ones are “What You Calling For”, “Body On Body” and “Let’s Go”. Overall, you can expect impressive vocals from GIO. From the broad themes of intense love and commitment, I can truly resonate with these songs.
