Ptazeta & Ingratax Drop A Lesbian Anthem With Reggaeton Beats

Ptazeta and Ingratax proudly express who they are through their vibrant new release. The lesbian anthem “Ha Pasado Tiempo, meaning “It’s Been A While” in English, celebrates the love between women with romantic and upbeat Reggeaton beats.

Passionate Lyrics

The hot rhymes refer to the absence and the time you don’t see the one you love the most, describing this feeling as torture. There’s a lot of energy when the singers join their voices in this awesome tune.

Moreover, I like how they reinforce the passionate lyrics of this song by mentioning pleasant memories from the past when they enjoyed each other’s company in private. Despite being a lesbian anthem, “Ha Pasado Tiempo” is also a relatable jam for all kinds of listeners.

The Melodies Are Impossible Not to Dance To

I’ve had this track on repeat since it dropped two days ago. Indeed, the melodies are just so damn infectious and fun to dance to. Plus, Ptazeta and Ingratax seem like they’re having the time of their lives in the accompanying visuals.

By the way, the special effects on the vocals sound really cool, but the best part, in my opinion, is the chorus. Trust me, if you speak Spanish, I bet you’ll want to sing it at the top of your lungs.

The Importance of LGBTQ+ Representation in Music

Above all, I think it’s so important to have more Latin artists putting out lesbian anthems like this. For instance, last year, the world discovered the extraordinary talent of La Cruz, who is the first openly gay Reggaeton artist I know so far.

To sum up, representation does matter because it means a lot to see people like us in the media and music. Growing up, I didn’t see many Latin acts embracing that side of their identity and it can make a person feel like they have to choose between their culture and who they love.

Luckily, the world is changing for the better when it comes to LGBT+ visibility, but I still think we need to come together more than ever today to keep moving forward and protecting our rights.
