If Rauw Alejandro songs always leave you breathless, then you must watch the new music video for “Diluvio,” which brings a feverish love story to life in the middle of a storm.
Directed by Martin Seipel and El Zorro, the raw and intimate visuals were filmed mostly in a sparsely furnished room containing just a mattress, speakers, and records. Though confined to this small space at first, the clip breaks out of these boundaries to depict steamy scenes on a motorcycle and amid a tempestuous sky.
Beyond that, Rauw Alejandro released ‘Playa Saturno’ last July as a follow-up to his avant-garde album ‘Saturno.’ This new record features collaborations with big names in the urban scene, including Junior H, Ivy Queen, Miguel Bosé, Jowell y Randy, and Ñego y Dálmata.
Earlier in March, before ‘Playa Saturno,’ the Puerto Rican rapper released an EP called ‘RR’ with his then-fiancée, Rosalia. However, they ended their three-year relationship in July shortly afterward. Consequently, in August, he surprised his fanbase with the emotional breakup song “Hayami Hana.”
Since last year, Rauw Alejandro has been extensively touring in support of these two projects. After concluding his European voyage in September, he will end the tour with a dope show in his homeland next month.
