Silence is all around. Sometimes it’s present despite being in a crowded room. Sometimes it is one’s only companion. Some are scared of silence. Some relish it. Some cannot function in silence. Some thrive on it. Silence affects us all differently. Sarantos newest song is about being comfortable in the silence despite the storm thundering loudly outside.
The song is also about being comfortable in the silence of your art not being well-received. Regardless of whether it’s a movie, song, book or painting, the artist is in a very real sense naked and exposes all personal vulnerabilities when their art is released into the public light. No artist ever creates something out of nothing without pouring their heart and soul into it, viewing it from every angle, and ultimately thinking it is a masterpiece. Critics and fans might not always agree however but that doesn’t mean everyone is not entitled to their opinion either. There is freedom of expression in the world today and that’s ok. Artists need to overcome their fears and grow comfortable with the silence if and when it comes. At one point, there will surely be silence whether it’s failed art today or a failure to recapture the glories and heights of the past. Maybe there is silence because a lover or a fan does not want you anymore.
“This is a song about silence,” says Sarantos. “My initial intention when I wrote the lyrics was to think about my 1st live performance. I was of course very nervous. The song taps into that but then also reaffirms that eventually he decides that even if the crowd hates him and doesn’t clap or cheer, the silence won’t bother him. He will finally be free because he no longer cares what they think. The rules are gone as he finally lets his true colors show. He has been waiting for this moment all his life. His music will play regardless of what they say! Of course there are several hidden meanings to the lyrics as they can also be applied to any art form and even interpreted as a once famous artist who no longer can get back on top and is left alone in silence.”
Sarantos won the Akademia LA Music Awards in 2015 for Best Song (What If I Never See You Again), Best Rock Song (Easy To Believe), Best Rock Ballad (The Veteran), Best Rock Music Video (We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve), Best Singer/Songwriter Song (A Mission Of Heart, I Sing), Best Pop Song (I Sing) & Best Pop Rock Album (Not Where I Wanna Be).
Sarantos has won twelve Beat 100 song & music video awards in 2015 and 2014. Sarantos was nominated for the International Music & Entertainments Awards in 2015 for “Rock Song of the Year” and in 2014 for “Rock Song of the Year” and “Pop Album of the Year.” In 2014, he was also nominated for the Hollywood Songwriting Awards for Best Unsigned Song (Are You Sure You Can Last).
Even without a label or radio promoters, Sarantos song “What If I Never See You Again” has been in the top 200 on the majors list in the US for radio airplay according to the Digital Radio Tracker Top 200 charts. On the independent charts, Sarantos is still in the top 10. He’s been on both these lists since early April.
33% of any music-related sales profits from this song are going straight to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Their mission is to save lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer, and to improve the quality of life for survivors.

“Friends” Is The Mellow, Soulful Pop Debut From ROME
If you’re not familiar with Romina’s music, “Friends” is a good soulful pop song to get started. The Houston-based singer and songwriter makes her grand debut under her new ROME alias. In fact, she’s stepping in the right direction after a longstanding career in different girl groups and on side projects (Romy Lombardo/Romy Lynn). The necessity of change in welcoming fresh ideas always gives good results. Clearly, “Friends” provides such a good example of her initiative, hitting over 8K streams via Spotify.
On the one hand, her gentle voice is perfect for the mellow beats. While on the other, genuine lyrics express deep feelings of jealousy and disappointment. It’s kinda like a deeply personal story, and I love how she’s completely upfront about it. Moreover, its enveloping dreaminess is packed with sincere emotions into almost three and a half minutes. I feel like this tune got me so involved in her music that I now need to see what happens next… Fortunately, the evolving Pop artist confirms there will be the second single in October, so stay tuned on her socials below!

Snooknuk Offers Educational Music For Kids With New Album
When it comes to educational music for kids, Snooknuk‘s new album becomes a good point of reference. To be more precise, I’m talking about her second material, ‘Once Upon A Day: A Lot More Funny’, available to stream on all major platforms. Interestingly, each song will motivate your children to learn positive values. The proper tones in which Snooknuk carries her voice also spark the fantasy, which matches their imaginative capacity.
Besides that, the sing-along nature of the whole project facilitates learning essential life lessons through cheerful songs. Overall, her style and vibe are fed with colorful pop beats. Hailing from Los Angeles, the singer and songwriter is making a name for herself for her useful contribution to different educational programs and events. Nowadays, parents want their kids to grow in self-esteem, so I would recommend this album if you want to explore with them new learning concepts in an enjoyable way.

Nobody can’t deny there’s a sense of escapism through Vincent Krennerich‘s fantastic music. In fact, listening to his Neoclassical-style melodies is a great way to relax. Creatively, the German pianist and composer create unique stories with soft instrumentals that puts you in a trance. Emotional and delicate piano chords will relieve your stress. With a blend of influences from Max Richter to Olafur Arnalds, Vincent delivers beautiful atmospherics that lower your blood pressure levels to return to baseline straight off. Strange at it seems, he has no formal musical education. Of course, the 21-year-old artist is a natural talent. He studied psychology for about three years and is now seeking a career as a biologist. Nevertheless, he has countless of dreamy tracks uploaded on Spotify under his belt you won’t want to miss. Keep an eye out for more information and forthcoming pieces below.

Love Pop Songs? You’ll Be Listening To Boston-Based Angelo David On Loop
Whether you’re in the mood for discovering new indie artists or fresh pop songs, I would suggest you listen to Angelo David. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, his lyrics revolve around teen issues and everyday problems. His debut single “Feelgood” is catchy as hell, and has surpassed 10K streams in a short period of time. Currently, he is promoting “B & W”, a fresh cut that feels more like a modern ballad. After years of being a self-taught singer, he is ready to attend the USC Thornton School of Music.
Believe it or not, Angelo David has won several awards at independent film festivals thanks to his striking music videos. Nowadays, he’s being mentored by the one and only, Marc Delcore, who worked with Britney Spears for years. Definitely, we need to praise his singing, but his skills also excel at playing the keyboards and mixing/mastering his own tracks.
Inspired by Khalid, Troy Sivan, and Halsey, his compositions shove singable choruses. In his own words, he describes life as a rollercoaster with higher highs and lower lows, but music has always been there for him. Personally, I also believe music provide you something to face the world in. Without further ado, discover his recent gems below.
