ScoutSom Unveil A Trance-Inducing Techno Album, ‘Shamash’

Let’s go on a hypnotic trip with Scoutsom‘s four-track album ‘Shamash’. Generally speaking, the Berlin-based duo keep an all-embracing approach characterized by smooth transitions and acidic textures. On another note, it’s not they typical pumping Techno we are used to listening at clubs.  In contrast, I would dare to say this project aims to induce a trance-like state on listeners. Further, get captivated by vintage-esque and futuristic melodies. However, to reach this point, Alexandre Antonio and Roberto Filippi meld analog/digital synths. They have so much to offer with this material. For instance, they bet on dark and eerie tones on “Karlmarxstraße”, but also with tracks like “Rosemont” and “Namour”, even though the breathtaking soundscapes feature heavier beats. While “Rathaus Neukölln” features a repetitive groove whose robotic snippets remind me of Kraftwerk. Listen in full via Spotify.

Use Your Headphones & Let Lotus Prime Take You On "Spirit Tracks"

If Lotus Prime has yet to be on your radar, his debut single proves he’s a newcomer producer to keep an eye on. Besides his passion for acting, Braeden Baade (real name) also enjoys to immerse himself into the world of electronic music. He is better known in Los Angeles for his different roles in indie films and television shows. Today, he wants to set a precedent with “Spirit Tracks”, the first cut from his upcoming album in 2020. Trust me, you don’t want to miss the chance to experience a Techno journey of five minutes. Add to this, driving beats, dark atmospherics, and pounding drums, which ultimately makes it a club-ready material for underground music lovers. Grab your headphones, close your eyes and let him take you on “Spirit Tracks”.

This Acid-Laced EP Causes Feelings Of ‘Euphoria’… Bates Belk Is Back!

This Acid-Laced EP Causes Feelings Of 'Euphoria'... Bates Belk Is Back!

Electronic music producer, Bates Belk returns from 5-year hiatus with a hot EP titled ‘Euphoria’. In order to innovate, he brings something unconventional to the table. A material inspired by Berlin’s atmosphere of freedom and open-minded society. As a matter of fact, it was produced in Germany’s capital city. Surprisingly, voice and breath recordings were done during sexual encounters by performance artists with different sexual orientations. Taking this into account, Belk embraces a concept, which celebrates gender fluidity and diversity. Feelings of euphoria are triggered due to acid-laced rhythms and raw techno energy. Above all, his music becomes the best antidote against oppression.

If you wish to experience trippy visuals, Belk’s new single “Euphoria” comes with psychedelic animations to achieve that purpose. On a side note, this is the first taste of his upcoming album ‘The Dark Spektrum’ to be released in 2020. One of the most intriguing details is that it will feature the collaboration of 50 Berlin-based artists. It has also been mixed by none other than Gareth Jones, who is known for projects with Depeche Mode, Erasure, Interpol, etc. Sincerely, I can’t wait for this album release to arrive. Stay posted, more news soon!

Rich Sibley Unveils A Futuristic EP That Will Blow Your Mind — ‘Machine Learning’

Rich Sibley Unveils A Futuristic EP That Will Blow Your Mind — 'Machine Learning'
Rich Sibley
graces the Techno world with a 3-track EP, ‘Machine Learning’. Clearly, he showcases his futuristic vision on the genre through a unique combination of analog drum machines + massive synths. If I’m not wrong, I believe the concept behind this project has something to do with artificial intelligence or robots. Among other things, the killer melodies are enhanced with sampled vocal snippets. In fact, he brings to life an old CD-ROM from the mid-90s, taking advantage of its most interesting sonic elements. With imagination and creativity, Rich keeps the energy levels up on each tune. As a result, ‘Machine Learning’ will blow your mind as you navigate through an endless flow of beats. Put your headphones on for a better listening experience.

When You Feel Eager For Exotic Rhythms Make Sure To Listen To Luca Draccar

Published

Luca Draccar
Luca Draccar‘s 3-track EP, ‘Noordinary’ is quite impressive due to its exotic rhythms. Blending the sounds of Techno, driving synths, hypnotic beats and dark melodies, this material is as delightful as one can imagine. Above all, the concept behind all these tracks is what really grabs my attention. Great civilizations and the evolution of humankind is part of his inspiration. Moreover, heavy-hitting kick drums warm up the atmosphere that welcomes you to unconventional music. That being said, Luca is on the experimental front of the underground scene. Indeed, his avant-garde style has been praised by Gus Gus, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Robert Owens, John Digweed, Carl Craig, among others. Obviously, this is a good sign for his next gems in the years ahead. Take a listen right here via Spotify, and get your own conclusions.

Get The Facts — Why Techno Newcomer DMVD Will Shake Every Dance Floor?

Published

DMVD
Norwegian Producer Magnus Didriksson aka DMVD maintains the fundamental basis of Techno on his debut EP ‘The Anti’. The Althea Records’ label includes in their catalog this brilliant 2-track material which promises to shake every dance floor. Believe it or not, Magnus is a classically trained musician who has a passion for violins since childhood. However, the rave culture and the 90s era filled him with enthusiasm for the electronic music scene. Musically speaking, he takes inspiration from all that surrounds him, from symphonic pieces, Psytrance classics, as well as nature. With regard to ‘The Anti’ EP, I think it’s all about the pounding drums, progressive vibes, galloping beats, and the different effects and filters. Without further ado, put aside the technical jargon and let these powerful tunes move your feet!
