Senhit To Play Live At The London Tabernacle On February 2

Introducing Senhit
Senhit, the Italian-Eritrean singer-songwriter will perform her first London show at the Tabernacle on Thursday, February 2. Her most recent single “Something on my Mind” has made a splash on streaming services, and her first full-length album will be released later in 2017.
Senhit (pronounced ‘Sen-eet’) has worked with Brian Higgins (Xenomania) and Busbee (Katy Perry, Timbaland, P!nk) on the record and the results are unashamedly pure pop.
Senhit was born in Bologna, northern Italy to Eritrean parents. A true citizen of the world, as well as traveling frequently to Africa, Senhit has lived in Hamburg, Rome, New York and London. She made her musical debut on the stage in Germany, landing starring roles in blockbuster musicals including The Lion King, Rent, Hair and Fame, touring with the shows throughout Europe.
It was upon returning to Italy from one of these tours that Senhit was approached by the publishing company PANINI, who were searching for a star to launch them into the world of music. Shocked and flattened by the proposal to become a pop icon, Senhit accepted and has been working on developing her pop act and transitioning from stage superstar to pop star with a plethora of collaborators from around the world.
The journey has seen her performing her own material on stages around the world, including the Eurovision song contest in 2011 when she represented San Marino. She’s picked up some famous fans along the way, including Meryl Streep whom she met at a film festival in Rome and again on an Italian telethon. During her time in New York, Senhit also made a connection with Madonna and discussed her upcoming music project.
She has recently been making waves throughout Europe, with a collection of performances at Le Méridien Etoile’s Jazz Club in Paris and an expansive tour of Italy.

Get Ready To Hum Along With Roger Jaeger’s Single, “Momentum”
There’s a reason why you should check out an interesting song today, and that song is “Momentum” by Roger Jaeger. It captures the sensation of moving forward without getting caught up in overthinking, so give it a try!
If you listen to it, you’ll notice that this track has a distinct sound, blending Pop, Rock, Country, and Folk elements together, much like the hits of Dave Matthews. But at the same time, the lyrics are all about a relatable tale of true love and the uncertainty that can come with it.
Clearly, Roger Jaeger has a remarkable skill in hitting high and low notes with precision and control, making his singing voice his greatest strength in my opinion.
Needless to say, it’s surprising how “Momentum” can be catchy and stick in your head, causing you to hum along unconsciously. Somehow, the melody also contributes to the sense of nostalgia.
By the way, Jaeger’s music has universal appeal! He has performed at various venues, including Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe and pubs in Ireland.
As a curious note, he even teaches songwriting for The University of The Nations in India. Plus, he derives creative inspiration from his travels and preferred books.
Lastly, it’s worth mentioning the California-based talent got a major performance lined up at Labelcoin House during SXSW 2023. You can find further information below.

MAK’s Song “You’re The Reason” Honors His Mom’s Cancer Battle

Brooklyn’s futuristic Pop artist, MAK, has released his new single “You’re The Reason,” with powerful lyrics, infectious melodies, and an anthemic Synth-Rock beat, this song tells the vibrant love story of a son and his mom. “You’re The Reason” is now available on streaming platforms worldwide and the full-length music video is live on YouTube.
“I had never written a song dedicated to one person and that challenge was quite daunting, but I didn’t go looking for this project, it became apparent that the most powerful love language I had to translate my feelings and emotions to my mom was through this song,” MAK said. The lyrics are deeply personal while telling a universal story that anyone can relate to. “I wrote this song for my mom, but I realized along the way that it was not only for her and I – it could be your mom or anyone in your life that is the reason you are who you are.”
MAK teamed up once again with his friend and Grammy-nominated producer Yonatan Watts who said, “something just feels right about this track. There are these nostalgic piano chords over an upbeat rock synth and drums that feels sentimental while getting your energy up at the same time. It was the perfect vibe for MAK to celebrate his mom to,” Watts said. He added “as a Pop record, the sound is very much for right now yet the message is timeless. MAK is particularly known for crossing influences of pop, R&B, Reggaeton and electro to make up his unique sound as an artist.”
“You’re The Reason” is also out now as a first-of-its-kind, AI-enhanced music video that takes a storybook tail of MAK and his mom and fuses oil-painted impressionist art, Synthwave aesthetics and artificially enhanced scenes that make this already vibrant track jump off the screen.
MAK credits his mom as the reason he’s developed into the evolving person and artist he is today. Her example and guidance, from an early age, led MAK to pursue diverse interests and develop those talents. Starting the piano at age three and picking up the drums, violin, and choir, MAK went on to play Division 1 football and study at two Ivy League schools.
MAK’s mom, born in Queens, New York, who put herself through Harvard, not only made a career as an elite teacher in the classroom but has also been an elite and compassionate teacher for MAK in the game of life.
As MAK went on to build a career in London and New York City working for the National Football League and launching his own marketing and innovation agency, MAK, who hadn’t picked up an instrument since high school, fell back into music serendipitously. He was invited into a close friend’s studio session as a guest and when convinced to hop in the booth, he was hooked from the moment he heard himself through a recording microphone.
MAK went on to tirelessly work on his voice and his craft and three albums and four years later, MAK is making music for his mom and the world. “I feel so fortunate to have been exposed to so much at a young age and to have found music again and my passion in life. It was my parents, my mom, that nurtured these interests in me and supported me in continuously pursuing my dreams. To get the opportunity to pay my love back to my mom through my music is a treasured gift for me coming full circle.”
