Showtek’s 2007 Anthem “FTS” Revived In 2025 With DJ Support

Nearly two decades after its debut, Showtek‘s iconic 2007 Hardstyle anthem “FTS” is experiencing a massive and unexpected revival. Originally premiered at Qlimax 2006 and released the following year, “FTS” quickly became a cult classic in the Hardstyle world for its high-octane energy, rebellious lyrics, and explosive sound design.

Now, in 2025, the track is erupting across global festival stages once again, and this time played by a new wave of Techno, Big Room, and Bass artists who weren’t traditionally part of the Hardstyle scene. From Charlotte De Witte and Reinier Zonneveld to Armin van Buuren, 999999999, Hardwell, Fatima Hajji, KAYZO, Timmy Trumpet, DJ Boring, Robin Schulz, Yellow Claw, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens, Maddix, and more, a growing list of top-tier DJs are championing the original version of “FTS” in their sets, proving its timeless power and cross-genre appeal.

To celebrate the resurgence, Showtek releases a short video that dives into the track’s origins, cultural significance, and why it’s resonating with a whole new generation of ravers. That momentum, which also included Reinier Zonneveld‘s remix of “FTS” released on April 25, continues with Showtek’s performance at EDC Las Vegas on May 18, followed by Sub Zero Project’s reinterpretation of “FTS” arriving on May 30, with more remixes in the pipeline.
