Listening to music while you exercise could increase your endurance by up to 15%, says new research conducted at Brunel University. One fitness company is hoping to cash in on that with the UK’s first-ever Silent Disco Bootcamp.
The new fitness craze takes the concept of a silent disco, and combines it with an intensive outdoor training programme, all in an effort to increase participants’ motivation.
Each participant is provided with a pair of specially designed headphones which play a bespoke fitness soundtrack.
The Silent Disco Fitness Class invites participants to sign up to a full or half day of high energy outdoor training, undertaken in the silence of their own personal head space.
