Simon Cowell To Launch New Reality Show To Find Ultimate DJ

So, you know Simon Cowell, the mastermind behind The X Factor? Well, turns out he’s cooking up something new, a reboot of a DJ competition called Ultimate DJ.

Back in 2012, he teamed up with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith for it, but the project got shelved. Now, Simon’s teaming up with SFX Entertainment to launch a fresh talent contest.

The goal? Find the next big DJ sensation and ride the wave of electronic music’s popularity, inspired by the success of mixers like Armin Van Buuren.

“Ultimate DJ” will initially launch as an online competition where DJs will submit their tracks for fan voting on social media. They will then move onto live challenges and performances as they look to combine visual and audio aspects to create exciting performances.
