The hobby can be categorized as a favorite passion that you can do outside of work. Just as we have hobbies and activities that we enjoy doing, so do musicians have or have had hobbies that they enjoy doing. I chose a few artists who have hobbies that are somewhat close to people who are not famous.
Lil Wayne is a skater
Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. known by his stage name Lil Wayne, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1991, at the age of nine, Lil Wayne joined Cash Money Records, being the youngest member of the record label, and being part of the duo The BG’z, along with rapper Lil ‘Doogie , also from New Orleans. In 1996, Lil Wayne formed the hip hop group Hot Boys with his colleagues at Cash Money Records: Juvenile, Young Turk and Lil ‘Doogie (who would change his name to B.G.).
Hot Boys debuted with Get It How U Live! in the same year. Lil Wayne gained much success with the album Guerrilla Warfare (1999). In addition to being a representative artist for Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne is the CEO of his own record label, Young Money Entertainment, which he founded in 2005.
One of Lil Wayne’s hobbies is skateboarding. The “Lollipop” rapper embraced the sport a few years ago and has since become very dedicated to practicing. He’s befriended several pro-skaters, attends skating events, and even skateboarded to the stage at the VMAs one year. Weezy also has a tattoo that reads “Baked” on his forehead, which is stylized after the Baker Skateboards logo. In October 2012 he opened up the skate park Trukstop in his hometown of New Orleans.
50 Cent likes gambling
50 Cent is an American rapper, real name Curtis James Jackson III, born in Queens (New York). He became known worldwide for his debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin ‘, which, along with his second album, won numerous awards. After releasing the album “Guess Who’s Back?” in 2002, 50 cents was discovered by Eminem and he signed with Interscope Records.
With the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre – who produced his first major commercial success – he became one of the best-selling rappers in the world. In 2003, he founded his record label G-unit Records, where he signed successful artists such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.
50 Cent often says that working in the studio, creating new hits is tiresome. Casino and sports betting are great ways of relaxation. Being an ardent fan of the New York Giants, he bet on them in 2012 when they played against the San Francisco 49ers. Not long after, his passion for slots and betting appeared in the press, with all his fans finding out about his hidden hobbies.
DMX and his bugs
Earl Simmons best known by his stage name DMX (also known as Dog Man X and Dark Man X) is an American rapper and actor. In 1999, he released his best album … And Then There Was X, which included the hit “Party Up (Up in Here)”. He has appeared in several films such as: Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave and Last Hour. In 2006, he starred in the reality TV series DMX: Soul of a Man. In 2003, DMX published a memoir entitled, E.A.R.L .: The Autobiography of DMX.
Yes, you read that right. DMX and bugs. Now, we’re not talking about cutesy ladybugs plush toys (although that would be just as weird) we’re talking about real live bugs. Either way, DMX is big into his entomology, which if you didn’t know is the study of insects and their relationship to humans.
Ice-T is a gamer
Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known as the Ice-T scene, is an American rapper, singer and actor. He began his career as an underground rapper in the 1980s and was signed to Sire Records in 1987, when he released his debut album Rhyme Pays; the second hip-hop album to carry an explicit content sticker after Slick Rick’s La Di Da Di. The following year, he founded the record label Rhyme $yndicate Records and released another album, Power, which went on to go Platinum. He also released several other albums that went Gold.
Hip hop exploded at the same time that video games really took off, so it’s no real surprise that rappers are in their video games. But Ice-T, well into his games. If you don’t believe us, check out his Twitter feed where almost every second tweet is “Gamer Stuff”, as he calls it.
He is also a champion of the gaming community and recently called those players who give the genre a bad name.
Each rapper or to be more specific each star has one or more hobbies both common and a little weirder. Thus they distinguish themselves from everyday and busy life.
Take A Few Minutes To Get To Know South London Artist Ultra_eko
It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of rising indie talents. You’ll thank me after getting to know South London-based Hip-Hop artist, Ultra_eko. Certainly, “Halo” is one of the most talked-about tracks he has released in 2020. This track is a captivating amalgamation of urban sounds, the right flow, tongue twisters, and electronic music. Little by little, he is exploring different genres. Like most of his tunes, “Halo” tells a unique story that is relatable on so many levels. Clearly possessing a catchy and bright hook, it’s impossible not to like sing it out loud.
With such a distinctively shimmering style, he is ready to surprise the world with his second studio album titled ‘Alternate Realities’, out on November 16th. When he is not making songs, Ultra_eko spends time with his children and manages his own business. Working on his music career is still something new for him, but it seems he has taken great steps so far as his compositions denote quality, passion, and love for art.
Who would have thought after purchasing a Korg synth for his son’s piano lessons, he became very keen on this music project. Most importantly, his forte is definitely writing lyrics. Indeed, he expresses his creativity by giving life to his verses and transforming them into melodies. At the end of the day, he wishes that his messages resonate with different listeners. That’s exactly what I call, music with a purpose. Stay tuned for his next single “Always On My Mind”, to be released this Friday.

Rappers Who Have Expanded Their Empire
Have you ever asked who the world’s wealthiest rappers are? We are going to explain to you. Rappers are famous for huge homes, luxury vehicles, and lavish purchases; and it’s no surprise when you glance at just how much some of them make.
Rappers who have widened their empires:
The 32-year-old Canadian is, by a decade, the youngest on this chart, but he’s rapidly gaining ground on the elder statesmen in hip-hop. Over the past year, Drake’s wealth has increased by 50%, driven by assets spanning from real estate to his Virginia Black whisky, as well as a lucrative tour and current residency at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas.
DJ Khaled is among the highest-paid hip-hop musicians in the world: according to Forbes, he received $27 million in 2018. The 43-year-old founder of Palestinian-American rock, whose real name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, understands what it’s like to be on the other side of the continuum of riches. His parents, Palestinian refugees, landed in their 20s in New Orleans with just $20 to their credit.
His artistic success achieved noted heights of popularity, and he was eligible for many awards as well. He has earned over ninety awards and still has many awards, including a 2017 American Music Award for “I’m the One” for Favorite Rap / Hip-Hop Album.
What does DJ Khaled do? Aside from making his own music to the tune of several hundred songs and twelve records, DJ Khaled is well recognized for the music of others as a composer and DJ. He founded a record label of his own, We the Best Music Company, which is responsible for the works of many popular musicians.
A recent US business magazine survey priced the rapper and design entrepreneur at $1.3billion. West’s interest in his Yeezy sneaker line, which Forbes estimated was worth $1.26 billion, is the majority of the money.
West’s music made up a comparatively limited portion of the wealth, despite being one of the last 20 years’ highest-selling musicians. His Strong Music agency, and his discography copyright, is priced at at least $90 million.
Despite claiming $53 million in debt and calling for $1 billion to Mark Zuckerberg to finance potential inventions in 2016, West makes its appearance on this list due to another patron: Adidas, who attracted West and his Nike Yeezy fashion project many years earlier. Our estimation of the riches of the West is almost completely focused on a realistic calculation of the importance of the name. He might one day follow his sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner, as a billionaire, as it begins to scale up.
Early in Vitamin Water’s past, 50 Cent decided to support the substance for a minority stake in the business. Curtis Jackson and Vitamin Water collectively dropped the marketed Formula 50 beverage. Fast-forward a decade and the purchase of Coca-Cola and the minority share of 50 of Vitamin Water was currently worth $500 million. Not all of the investments of 50 Cent hit the jackpot, but the rapper has a profitable film production business named Cheetah Vision that pumps out low-budget action movies for international audiences, rendering Roger Corman of 50 Cent hip-hop. His headphone relationship with SMS Audio has not caught on like Beats by Dre.
As industry trends weigh on some of his assets, including cable network Rebellion and apparel label Sean John, the artist formerly identified as Puff Daddy slips to No. 3 on this list as industry trends weigh on some of his assets (although Diddy has sold most of his share in the latter, he maintains a substantial piece). Yet Ciroc, his fortune’s key engine, is rising again after case numbers have dropped from all-time peaks over the last few years — making the impresario maybe the most possible nominee to enter Jay-Z in the billion-dollar community.
Anti-Racism Song “Empire Shakes” Exposes The Failure Of The American Dream
If you like Childish Gambino’s political anthem, “This Is America”, then you definitely want to check out Chucky Blk’s new anti-racism song.
If you like Childish Gambino’s political anthem, “This Is America”, then you definitely want to check out Chucky Blk‘s new anti-racism song. Entitled as “Empire Shakes” the rapper based in Austin, Texas expresses dismay regarding the idea of the American Dream. Behind this national ethos, discrimination impacts its concept. It is worth mentioning that his rap verses expose its failure, while at the same time it is a fair critique about the society of chaos he lives in. Precisely, through his sincere lyrics, he rebels against this unjust system.
A special collaborative track with British Hip-Hop talent Eldon. Together they take the art of rapping to the next level with rhymes and metaphors that flow well. Creatively, visuals carry a clear message, which invites you to wake up from puppetry life. What’s more, in order to fight against racial inequality, we all have to come together. Just remember, there’s more power in unity than in division. Discover interesting announcements from Chucky Blk on his socials down here.

Will Hecht Redefines Modern Hip-Hop In “Strange Love” — LISTEN
You may wonder what makes Will Hecht‘s music exceptional. The answer is, in my view, his refreshing modern sound + the smooth/raspy singing style that enchants listeners. Certainly, his newest single, “Strange Love” will definitely blow you away. As a true genre-bending virtuoso, he experiments with contemporary Hip-Hop and Pop elements like none other.
Without fail, it’s a summertime anthem with a tropical-infused rhythm. As a matter of fact, the marimba-like instrumentals will bring you back incredible memories of the sun, beach, and sand instantly. Not in vain, the vivid cover matches the concept of the whole tune. Likewise, this one is quite an upbeat jam that makes riding in the car fun.
Happiness is a road trip with a good playlist, therefore, here you have something great for it. So, don’t think twice, just press play below.
