GRAB YOUR COPY
There’s no better way to start the year off by listening to this three-track EP by 2Clic. Free your mind, body, and soul with Tech House music. For that purpose, the Lyon-based producer showcases a gloriously trippy style. Certainly, this exclusive material is designed for underground clubs but you can also enjoy it wherever you are. So, put aside your worries, and just focus on his brilliant organic/spacey sounds.
The first track, “Magnolia”, sees 2Clic in a hypnotic collaboration with Torsak. Together they achieve something described as edgy or unconventional, with gradual changes in sonic textures. Likewise, “Hot” and “Crau” impress with a similar perspective, as he experiments with more pounding drums, atmospherics, minimal elements, and looping vocals. It’s pretty good stuff!

Cityzen Goes Tech House With Weekend Anthem “Misomaniac”
Continuing a hot streak of club-ready releases in recent months, Cityzen returns with a Tech House-influenced bomb that will be the tune of your weekend. “Misomaniac” is ready to rave, buoyed on bouncy basslines and distinctive, driving percussion that gives the track its relentless energy. Cityzen adds some funky melodies and vocal riffs to top it off, turning “Misomaniac” into a dancefloor-friendly tune that will carry you from Friday night into Sunday morning. The new release follows Cityzen’s hard-hitting remix of Salvatore Ganacci’s “Horse” on OWSLA and his previous single “Planet Rock” on CYB3RPVNK.
Although not much is known about Cityzen yet, we can be extremely positive about three noticeable attributes: his affinity for the color red, unique glasses, and his desire to give people the intense beats that one would imagine hearing on the metallic streets of a futuristic metropolitan. Perhaps, Cityzen can live in the past and the future at the same time, giving him the ability to merge vintage hardware like Moog synthesizers with futuristic house rhythms of the modern age. His sound continues to evolve with every newly released track, from his debut single “Sirius” to previous “Planet Rock” and now “Misomaniac.” Cityzen is on the verge of something huge and previously unimagined – and all the world can do is wait. Armed with his sparkling glasses and affinity for the color red, Cityzen brings to life a crossover of old and new that will become the unique sound of the next generation.

JP Candela & Sansixto Team Up For Tech House Single “Big Up!” On Protocol Recordings
Protocol Recordings breaks the mold with standout new single “Big Up!”, by Ibiza heavyweight JP Candela and fellow Spanish producer Sansixto. Candela is a resident at the White Isle’s Pacha, and his single debut on the imprint brings a distinctly more underground club vibe. Delivering electro and tech-house influences through driving, grimy basslines, and bouncy synths, “Big Up!” packs a dancefloor-friendly punch that evokes memories of nights turned into mornings and emerging from dark clubs at sunrise. The track is JP Candela’s first single on Protocol; he has previously worked with David Guetta, remixing his singles “Turn Me On” feat. Nicki Minaj, “Memories” feat. Kid Cudi, “Say My Name” with Bebe Rexha & J Balvin, and “Bang My Head” with Sia & Fetty Wap. Press play on this experimental new single from Nicky Romero’s label!
Over the last decade, DJ and producer JP Candela has been hustling the international electronic music circuit, performing at some of the world’s most heralded venues and most significant festivals. He has been David Guetta’s preferred DJ for his notorious “F*** Me I’m Famous” parties for the last 9 seasons at Pacha Ibiza and FMIF World Tour; this summer they premiered the FMIF parties at HÏ Ibiza for the first time. Candela is truly a global talent, having played at Ultra Europe, Creamfields, Rock in Rio, WMC Miami, DayDream, and many more. With previous releases on Spinnin’ Records, Defected Records, Sono Music (Armada), Ministry of Sound, Sony Music and more, the Protocol Family welcomes JP Candela with open arms. Also based in Spain, Sansixto’s resume includes Revealed Recordings, Maxximize, Different, and Pacha Recordings. In addition to his own gigs at huge clubs including Palace in Miami, Fabrik in Madrid, and Moon 13 in Frankfurt, he has also been warming up the dance floor for the likes of Alesso, Steve Angello, Blasterjaxx, Yves V, Nicky Romero and many more during his five-year residency at Falkata. Tech House Enthusiasts Should Bet Big On Chicago-Based DJ Alex Kislov
Little by little, Alex Kislov‘s techy productions have penetrated Chicago’s club circuit. As a matter of fact, he uses the words, “happy music” to describe his work, and I couldn’t agree more with him. There’s no doubt, many DJs have inspired him along the way. Although it sounds like a paradox, the Israeli-born artist got introduced to electronic music thanks to his mother and sister’s musical tastes. Needless to say, he fell in love with turntables at the age of 16.
Over time, DJing went from a hobby to his real profession. Thereupon, Alex got involved in multiple competitions, where he gained valuable experience. A remarkable moment in his career was without a doubt his first set on New Year’s Eve for Porter Robinson. As far as achievements are concerned, in such a short time, he was also able to play along with hitmakers like David Guetta, Sander van Doorn, Tommy Trash, and many more. Moreover, his tours across America always fill up quickly. Having said this, Tech House enthusiasts should bet big not only on his skills but also on the upcoming releases he’s cooking at the studio. The newest one, “I Party” is available on all streaming platforms. Take a listen down here!
