Steven Jones & Logan Sky enlist sax icon Gary Barnacle for their new track, “Sons Of Hallucination.“ Best of all, the Synthpop duo put out dope visuals to trip out on. The whole clip plays with glitchy transitions, so you can experience psychedelic moments.
The next thing you need to know is that both Logan and Gary were former members of the popular 80s band, Visage.
Thus, there’s a melancholic atmosphere that surrounds this great song.
“Sons Of Hallucination” is taken from the forthcoming album, ‘European Lovers’, due in 2021. Inspired by the cinema of Jean-Luc Goddard and the existential vision of Sartre, the lyrics feature introspective storytelling.
Of course, it revolves around memories, emotions, ideals, and shifts over time. Paired with saxophone solos towards the end, the instrumentals add an air of sensuality. Definitely, it is destined for radio wave domination, and it will be enjoyed by the most nostalgic souls.
