Taiwanese music superstar DJ, producer, and singer RayRay unleashes a Trance bomb with “Running” via Steve Aoki‘s label Dim Mak Records. You know instantly it’s a festival weapon from the first beat of plucky arps, euphoric synths, and her ethereal vocals, making the whole track incredible.
Additionally, you get epic basslines, rhythmic hats that make you want to move, and kicks that slam! Check out the music video below and prepare to be obsessed.
Taiwanese Music Superstar Status
Throughout the years since her debut studio album, RayRay has literally dominated the global EDM scene, and here’s the tea.
First off, she crushed the Red Bull Thre3style competition in Taiwan like it was nothing. However, that was just the warmup, fam.
Now here’s where it gets insane: She became the first-ever Taiwanese DJ to slay at Tomorrowland. But wait, it gets better. Since then, she’s headlined at every festival you’ve ever dreamed of attending: Glastonbury, Ultra Music Festival, and ADE.
Like, she’s collecting major festival slots like Pokémon cards at this point. Moreover, she’s been in the studio cooking up fire with top-notch producers and releasing her gems at the most legendary labels in the game.
Ultimately, RayRay is the definition of a global powerhouse. She’s the best of Taiwanese music, and she’s coming for the world. The future is loud!

Why Trance is Perfect for Running
Trance has this insanely consistent high tempo that forces your legs to lock into the perfect rhythm. In other words, your body just syncs up automatically.
The driving basslines create unstoppable forward momentum. It’s like having a personal hype squad in your ears. Plus, those epic builds and drops trigger adrenaline rushes right when you’re about to hit the wall.
On the other hand, the euphoric synths mess with your brain in the best way possible. That being said, Trance is engineered for sustained high-energy focus. It’s the cheat code for crushing your runs every single time.
And with those qualities in mind, it’s thrilling to see a versatile artist tackle the genre. This is, to my knowledge, RayRay’s first deep dive into Trance, and based on how catchy “Running” is, fans are already begging for more!
