The Best Music Of 2018 – Electro Wow Music Awards

electro wow music awards 2018

Finally, I bring you the best music of 2018. The Electro Wow Music Awards is a symbolic recognition to those creative minds that exceeded our expectations. In this edition, I have included Reggaeton as a new category because I think Latino Dance music also deserves to be taken into account. Let me know your thoughts below, and don’t forget to stream these top hits via Spotify!

Durtysoxxx, Dandi & Ugo feat. Ira Ange – Discoteque (D-Unity Remix)

You can’t get off your mind this hard-driving Techno remix from D-Unity. Everything the Canadian DJ touches turn to gold, and that’s exactly the case of “Discoteque”, originally produced by Durtysoxxx and Dandi & Ugo. Additionally, Ira Ange’s seducing vocals won’t allow you to leave the dance floor.

Here's The Music Video For Markus Schulz & JES, “Calling For Love”

Markus Schulz feat. JES – Calling For Love

Markus Schulz and JES, two of our favorite artists joined forces for this love anthem. “Calling For Love” features magical vocals and lyrics that can be considered poetry. It’s 100% emotional, and you can feel its energy right away.

dj sophie lloyd

Sophie Lloyd feat. Dames Brown – Calling Out

It’s the perfect vocal House track you want to listen on repeat. Of course, the Soulful power pack trio, Dames Brown made possible this tune sounds actually like a classic. All these talented ladies and DJ Sophie Lloyd deliver pure joy, so raise your hands up the air and sing it out loud!

Dubplate Disco – Pick Up (Yam Who? Edit)

Andy Williams aka Yam Who? is known for turning underrated vintage Disco cuts into big bangers since the 80s. In 2018, he puts his signature edit style on Melba Moore’s “Pick Me Up”, and the results speak for themselves.

dj sidney samson

David Guetta, Bebe Rexha & J Balvin – Say My Name (Sidney Samson Remix)

There’s no doubt this version doesn’t sound like David Guetta at all. Wonderfully, Sidney Samson‘s remix brings back the original Electro House sound we all love. Of course, he gave his absolute best at the studio and transformed the original Pop tune into a monster club remix.

NINA singer

NINA – Sleepwalking

Surely, synth lovers will adore NINA‘s “Sleepwalking”. The European singer wins this year due to her originality and such passionate voice will make you fall in love with her music. This song is intense, powerful and literally amazing. Can’t wait to hear more releases in the near future.

Tomasa Del Real Drops The Best Latin Song To Dance In 2018

Tomasa Del Real – Barre Con El Pelo

Free yourself from “Despacito”, update your playlist with Tomasa Del Real. Her new single “Barre Con El Pelo” (Spanish for “Sweep With The Hair”) was definitely the best Latin song to dance in 2018.

best album 2018

Tomasa Del Real – Bellaca Del Año

In my own personal opinion, the Chilean artist Tomasa Del Real was the great discovery of 2018. This album features a total of 9 sexy tracks designed mostly for the dance floor. Coincidentally, the title of this album ‘Bellaca Del Año’ translates into English as ‘Girl Of The Year’. Well, nothing happens in this world without a cause. She worked so hard, and we’re currently seeing the fruits.

The Chemical Brothers  – Free Yourself

Video directed by Dom&Nic

Get ready to be wowed by amazing visual effects and robots going crazy in a factory. The clip reveals how the future will look like in the next few years, as artificial intelligence is rapidly progressing. Watch how these oppressed machines reveal against humanity to the Techno rhythm of The Chemical Brothers. It’s funny but also kinda scary. Perfection!
