In his latest release, Tooty Ragu rounds out the album, ‘King Squid’ with seven driving tracks that reflect the best modern Rap music you are looking for. The talented indie creator wants to inspire up-and-coming young artists with his work, just as he did at the age of 15 when he made a cameo in Outlandizh’s popular clip for “Touch Me”. Hailing from New Orleans, Tooty has finally accomplished one of his goals, having his own publishing company. It may sound hard to imagine he also tuned down songs from big names in the urban industry like Tory Lanez and Bun B.

‘King Squid’ marks a brand new era for him. Not only you can bob your head to his flow, but you can also appreciate his authentic lyricism. Definitely, he got the perfect rhymes thanks to his Rap battling experience of the past. As a result, he knows how to turn up the heat with ease. Of course, besides the edgy sound of his tracks, the raps incorporate the clever punchlines, metaphors, and wordplay needed. In my opinion, the infectious one is “Day Job”, and it’s 100% relatable as well, especially during these hard times. Take a listen to this tune and many more below via Spotify.

Most importantly, Tooty has a live performance at the Twist of Lime in Metairie, Louisiana on August 9th, 2020. (more information)
