I’m enjoying the 80s-flavored melodies on “Take This Back” by Trevor Douglas. Somehow, the promising talent from Dallas, Texas reminds us of Michael Jackson’s Pop classics.
While you might expect acoustic elements which are typical of his signature sound, this time he sings over perfectly vintage synths and electronic drums. Overall, the new song has a very young and fresh feeling. In my opinion, “Take This Back” deserves to receive massive radio plays as lyrics always show his romantic side.
Once again, the former American Idol finalist doesn’t cease to amaze us. Check this out!
