London-born artist TroyBoi just dropped a remix of Party Favor‘s “Wait A Minute” featuring A$AP Ferg & Juicy J, as a part of Party Favor’s forthcoming remix version of ‘Layers’ album, scheduled for a release on August 15. TroyBoi, who recently collaborated with Skrillex on “WARLORDZ” and released his “V!BEZ, Vol. 3” EP on OWSLA, gives the hip-hop/electronic crossover track a trap makeover, incorporating mechanical synths and slow-mo basslines to serve as a backdrop for the original rap verses. No matter if you’re out for the night or simply jamming in your bedroom, this remix is sure to be a crowd favorite. The “Wait A Minute” remix follows Party Favor’s releases of an acoustic version of “Be OK” and remix version (remixes from BIJOU and Yehme2) of “Wave” featuring Lil Baby & Rich The Kid, serving as the teaser of the full “Layers” remix album coming later this month on Area 25. Party Favor released the original “Layers” debut album in April as his most personal and stylistically diverse piece yet. Keep an eye out for what’s next as Party Favor continues to build his empire!
With one of the most diverse and accomplished resumes in the industry as a DJ, producer, and boundary-pushing artist, Party Favor is a real force of nature. His music has helped the festival trap, and twerk scenes rise to sudden popularity in dance music, frequently blurring the boundaries between electronic, rap, reggae, and many other genres. In addition to multiple hit singles and a debut EP (feat. Gucci Mane, Rich the Kid, Dillon Francis) that reached #2 on iTunes Dance, #1 on US Dance Radio and #7 on Billboard’s Dance radio charts, the LA-based artist has worked as a producer for some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Lil Jon, 2 Chainz, Migos and A$AP Ferg. In case you can’t make one of his album tour dates, catch Party Favor at his residencies at Hakkasan Group (Hakkasan, Omnia, Wet Republic) in Vegas, E11even in Miami and Premier Nightclub in Atlantic City this year. 2019 thus far has been a massive transformation for Party Favor, and shedding all of these “Layers” was just the beginning.

Marc Benjamin & Trap Sensation RayRay Present “My Swag”
Marc Benjamin teams up with Taiwanese newcomer RayRay for their sultry, hard-hitting track “My Swag”, out on Protocol. The track ventures into new territory for Marc Benjamin, delivering a fusion of electro/EDM style and serrating trap basslines. Featuring RayRay’s own vocals, this club-friendly sinister tune packs a punch of attitude with its serrating synths and driving bass. Although winter is upon us in many parts of the world, look no further than “My Swag” to heat things up. This is the second collaboration between Marc and RayRay (who has also released on Barong Family and Dim Mak) that follows Benjamin’s previous Protocol release “Show You” from this summer, “Off Road” from Showtek’s Skink label and Spinnin’ Records’ “Pop N Rewind.”
Nicky Romero and the Protocol crew can always be counted on for cutting-edge new music, melding a variety of genres for exciting and unexpected sounds. Their new additions feel right at home with that mantra, bringing a medley of trap, future bass, and electro house to the imprint’s already robust mix while still pumping out plenty of classic progressive jams. Veteran producer Marc Benjamin has a reputable taste for impeccable productions, evidenced in his past successes with his previous collaborations with heavyweights Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, and Yves V, and his remixes of Zedd’s worldwide hits “The Middle” and “Happy Now.” He’s performed around the world, including Ultra Bali and a 5-year residency at Amsterdam’s club Escape, and released on Spinnin’ Records and Steve Angello’s Size Records. Benjamin’s dynamic productions have piqued the attention of industry heavyweights like Tiesto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello and Avicii. We can’t wait to see what comes next from the Protocol family!

4B Releases Urban-Influenced Trap Single “Bang Bang” With ACRAZE
4B proves his dynamic ability as a Producer by exploring a new sound on his latest single “Bang Bang” with ACRAZE, a hard-hitting track filled with urban and Trap influences. Opening with mysteriously melodic notes, “Bang Bang” wastes no time gearing up with Rap vocals and stabbing percussion coupled with intense serrating synths. The trap genre’s signature reverberating basslines make the single assaulting sonic journey that will appeal to bassheads and urban aficionados worldwide. “Bang Bang” follows 4B’s recent releases on Ultra Records, such as “Atomic Bomb,”, “Told You” and debut single “Blackout” with Flosstradamus. Keep an eye out for the next singles dropping soon!
Robert McKeon Jr., better known as 4B, may only be 26 years old, but he’s already been honing his musical skills for nearly half of his life. The American DJ and Producer has relentlessly pursued his signature sound and vision, garnering support from some of the industry’s legends like Skrillex, DJ Snake, Diplo and Tiesto for his unique sound and meticulous production style. His trademark single was “Pop Dat” with Aazar in 2015; the track became one of the most played track songs of the year and topped over 12M streams on Spotify alone, putting 4B firmly on the map as one to be watched in the dance music scene. Since then, he has remixed the likes of Fetty Wap’s “My Way” with Flosstradamus and DJ Snake’s “Middle.” 4B has also earned himself somewhat of a cult following from his electric live performances, which include his wildly popular set at EDC Las Vegas right before ZEDD, where he brought out Soulja Boy as a special guest. Bobby continues to evolve and mature as an artist, and we are excited to see what the next wave of his career brings.

Now You Can Enjoy Trap-Infused Sounds With Gromo’s New Track “Nuke”
New York City-based DJ & Producer Gromo has been making waves since he was a teenager. Surprisingly, at the age of 16, he performed at Ultra Music in Miami. As a matter of fact, he became the youngest person to play at this important festival. Eventually, he got behind the decks in Europe and Asia. Nowadays, with the release of his brand new track, “Nuke”, he dares to experiment with Trap-infused sounds, Hip-Hop and EDM. What’s more, rapper Hush showcases his ability to flow by delivering good catchy rhymes. Somehow, the whole composition sparks the listeners’ imagination as the beat of the song emerges. Perhaps, it not difficult to envision a dark, hot, smoky club with crowded people dancing to the rhythms of raw and energetic vibe. In other words, powerful stuff.

BLVD. Introduces “Game Day” – A Fresh New Anthem For Sports Fanatics
BLVD. is back with a new anthem just in time for the fall sports season, an energetic and heavy-hitting anthem appropriately titled “Game Day”. The new release draws upon classic instrumental rhythms reminiscent of opening music for sports matches, then infuses it with BLVD.’s signature traplike, gritty bass. The world needs a strong new game day anthem to make them jump out of bed, I present to you, ‘Game Day.'” – BLVD.FREE DOWNLOAD
Boulevards are made of much more than stone, sand, gravel, and asphalt. At their essence, they are a culmination of a million journeys – so many individual steps, tires, waste, and grime – and yet they are enduring, through rain and snow and heat, and majestic in their ability to withstand all that humans and nature may throw at them. BLVD.’s music represents the beauty in grit through his heavy-hitting yet welcoming sound. Although not much is known about BLVD. to date, he’s already received support from influential artists such as Diplo & Friends, Alison Wonderland, RL Grime, 4B, Nitti Gritti, and Ekali. As BLVD.’s music grows with each release, we can only bet that this is the start of something even bigger. Stay tuned for more music and news from BLVD. coming soon!
