Londoner rising artist Ultra_eko has a new remix album on the way in collaboration with producer Subsequel. ‘Into The Multiverse,‘ is a 12-track genre-bending Hip-Hop material mixed with electronic music elements. Definitely, this is the kind of creative work that needs to be classified as groundbreaking. As a matter of fact, the new remix album is set to release on February 8th, 2021, featuring a cutting-edge approach to his previous record ‘Alternate Realities.’
Without a doubt, there will be too many remixes to digest in one listen. Best of all, his pure rapping ability remains intact. Thus far in his music career, “Broken Glass” is his biggest hit. With over 100k streams on Spotify, the new version of this tune will be included. In the same fashion, soon on January 2nd, he will premiere its proper music video directed by Eli Lev, with whom the artist has worked on multiple occasions.
With attention to other cuts, personally, I’m loving the remix treatment on “Always On My Mind” and “Pingu.” Particularly, here Subsequel adds modern punchy beats, minimal keyboard lines, and soft synth pads enhancing the impact of Ultra_eko’s vocal delivery that sounds as nimble as ever. Overall, you can expect interesting arrangements that will bring a lot of energy and enjoyment, especially during these difficult COVID times.
