Bar Code Born is one of the coolest underground indie bands in America. Without a doubt, their repertoire appears to reflect songs that can easily become cult-classics. Formerly known as “Barbie’s Gun”, the band’s music style has evolved over the past few years. Nowadays, I would dare to say they fit into the alternative Pop/Rock sphere. Beyond this, both their lyrics and unique cover art convey reality which points out a meaningful concept. Perhaps, one of their major achievements is their triumph at the Unisong International Songwriting Competition. Since then, many doors have opened for them. Not to mention, Brain Orion (band’s main vocalist) has worked on different projects for the likes of OKGO, John Mayer & Alanis, Foo Fighters, among others.
