WATCH: Peggy Gou Has Released An Anime-Inspired Clip For “I Go”

The famous Korean DJ and producer, Peggy Gou has released new music! The housey single “I Go” comes accompanied by an anime-inspired clip, which took five months to make.

In this fantastic music video, Gou plays the role of the captain in a spaceship run by a large number of intergalactic female soldiers. Of course, the mastermind behind these visuals is Inji Seo.

Without fail, you can feel some nostalgia from the 90s. Add to this, infectious synths, kicks, and sweet hypnotic vocals from the artist herself.

Moreover, “I Go” was released on July 9th via her own label Gudu Records. Actually, it’s a modern tribute to the rave era and the electronic sounds you grew up loving.

Funnily enough, the lyrics are inspired by a note she wrote on her phone three years ago during her journeys at the airport. Strangely, the brilliant ideas emerged in a toilet, yeah you read it right, in a toilet!

I hope you like it as much as I do. No doubt, “I Go” is one of the greatest of the year as well as the anime-inspired clip. Don’t you agree? Share it with your friends.
