Stax (Shawn Stackz) was born in London and has been raised over the years in places like Oklahoma, Saudi Arabia, England, and Louisiana. It is only fitting that he has been dubbed ‘Mr. International’ for his massive worldwide appeal.
With the upcoming release of his latest single, “All You See,” Stax is continuing to take the world by storm. “All You See” is an electro dance track that features the one and only Flava Flav. This will be one of the many unique and fresh productions on the Electro Circus album. The Music video was filmed in Big Bear Lake in the Mohave Desert and in parts of Houston, Texas, and will feature Flava Flav, Kristen Renton from ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Jessica Hall from the ‘Wilkinson Show’, and many more.
He started honing his craft and prepared himself for performing on stage by the age of five after he heard his first Michael Jackson cassette tape. Stax would spend day and night practicing the moonwalk tirelessly, singing and dancing until he passed out. Growing up all over the world has given Stax the opportunity to diversify and create an ability to incorporate unique sights and sounds into a truly one-of-a-kind infusion of Electro, Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B. It is no surprise that Stax’s music is able to appeal to almost everyone – with a fan base so wide in a range that age, color and musical preference mean nothing.
Stax has upcoming tours in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States to promote the release of his “All You See” single and music video.
He now resides in Houston, Texas, and is proud to be a fully independent artist. Not only is Stax an artist, but he also has quite the knack for business, with a career full of dynamic collaborations and headlining shows in Houston, Las Vegas, New York, Dallas, and many more. Despite all this success, Stax’s biggest career highlight is the simple fact that he can share his music on stage with the rest of the world. “Every time I step out on stage and grab the mic and hear the crowd say my name – that’s what matters most – not the money but the music.”
