Wave-Pop Band Jules Verne Theory Release Their New Single “Apex Predator” on Ninthwave Records
It’s been a while since I reviewed Jules Verne Theory‘s debut album last year. Today they’re back not only with a new single, but, moreover, with a cool remix package! You’ve got to hear this song, it’s called “Apex Predator”, it keeps the vibe of the English pop-synthesizer bands we used to follow in the 80s. And to to expand their musical horizons to the modern world, they have just shared a lyric video with nice visuals. The Wave-Pop sound is quite vibrant and good, while the echo-drenched vocals provided by Richard, give a futuristic/dark feel. This release is immediately addictive, listenable, and culminating in the amalgamation of synths. Listen in full below.

In addition, the remix package contains stunning works by Ricardo Autobahn, Raumstad, and JVT, which is quite admirable. This EP contains a total of 4 tracks, and as a big fan of Acid Techno I have to mention that my favorite one is the remix produced by Raumstad. On the other hand, the JVT remix might be suitable for those of you who like the darkwave style. This is completely different and downtempo in comparison with the uplifting version of Ricardo Autobahn that totally rocks in my opinion! I’m sure that the best is yet to come for this wonderful duo.
