Barong Family’s driving force Yellow Claw just dropped “Supernoize” with Juyen Sebulba, featuring RayRay – the premier single from the label’s upcoming ‘Hard In Bangkok’ album, scheduled for a release in late March. The Dutch duo holds nothing back in this hard-hitting bomb of a track, which delivers a relentless bassline and assaulting synths from start to finish. “Supernoize” is primed for the club and festival circuit; you can almost imagine the Barong crew heading out into the balmy Bangkok lights for a night of hedonism. The forthcoming LP was made during Barong Family’s five-day studio camp in Thailand’s capital city, where fourteen international artists came together to create an inspiring creative space, make great music together, and document everything in the form of photos and videos. ‘Hard In Bangkok’, as a result of the artists’ gathering, will feature 20 new tracks from such artists as Rawtek, Nonsens, Stoltenhoff, Lil Texas, LNY TNZ, and more, as well as fresh sounds from Yellow Claw themselves, including the brand new “Supernoize”.

Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis are the talented duo behind Yellow Claw, the electronic music artist project that has been changing the game in bass music since 2013. Their heavy, hip-hop-influenced, and club-ready sound began on their early tracks like “DJ Turn It Up” and “In My Room” ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga – which collectively are about to surpass 300M streams on Spotify alone. Yellow Claw’s 2015’s debut album “Blood For Mercy” hit #1 on Billboard’s Heat Seekers Chart, Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, and scored an Edison Award – the Dutch equivalent of GRAMMY. They haven’t slowed down since, with a packed tour calendar that included last year’s epic takeover of the LA’s iconic Shrine Auditorium to a crowd of 7K people, and their work with Barong Family label. Juyen Sebulba is one of the artists who found a home on Barong after working alongside Yellow Claw, Laidback Luke, and Good Times Ahead as well as producing official remixes for DJ Snake, Boys Noize and Major Lazer, and releasing on Diplo’s Mad Decent and Mixmash. Taiwanese RayRay’s reputation for injecting a savage signature sound into her music floated past the ears of Yellow Claw, who signed RayRay to Barong Family in 2018. She performed at such major events as ADE, SXSW, Glastonbury, Sonar Music Festival, and released on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, and Spinnin’ Records. Stay tuned for more tracks from ‘Hard In Bangkok’ coming soon to see what’s next from the Barong Family’s crew.

VIZE & R3HAB Join Forces On Euphonious Dance-Pop Single Via Sony Music
In the recent past, both VIZE and R3HAB have been able to celebrate great successes. The fact that these two heavyweights of the Dance scene have produced a song together is more than promising. Their new song “One Last Time” tells the story of dancing through the night together one last time before parting ways and leaving each other behind. It’s about living in the moment for a certain time. Musically, the song starts out acoustic and restrained. The soft vocals are accompanied by a piano and simple drums. The drop then combines the typical sounds of VIZE and R3HAB: on a fresh house beat comes the slapping bass, which is also known from other tracks of VIZE and R3HAB. The song sprays melancholic-cheerful vibes in every bar, which animate you to dance.
“We are very happy about our new release ‘One Last Time’ as it was a song that we loved from the first minute on. Working together with R3HAB was a pleasure, even though it was only from a distance. We hope our fans will be as hyped as we are about this collaboration. Cannot wait to play that during the upcoming club season!” — VIZE
“I’ve been following VIZE for many years, and I am excited that we’ve finally found the right opportunity to work together. Bhaskar Returns With Retrowave-Inspired Jam “Hours And Hours”
Brazilian DJ and producer Bhaskar returns to his family label CONTROVERSIA with a mesmerizing new single — “Hours and Hours.” Blending EDM with Retrowave sounds, the release is truly a testament to his ability to experiment and master different genre-bending styles. It opens with groovy 80s-inspired melodies and surreal vocal hooks overtop of deep, driving basslines for an experience that will both give you goosebumps and make you get on the dancefloor right away. “Hours and Hours” is a sultry but energetic gem that follows his recent single “Round My Head” with Yves V and “U Got My Body,” also on Alok’s label.
“This song was really fun to make because I can participate in the whole creative process. First, I got the vocals from the songwriters, but there were some things I wanted to change in the vocals. So I had a meeting with them, gave them my suggestions, and we were able to adjust. Regarding the instrumental, I was based a lot on what I have proposed for my last songs, which is to make music more for the dance floor. So I wanted to keep its atmosphere which is more of a “deep” thing, but at the same time make it rock on the dance floor. I’m very happy with the result, and it has worked a lot in my sets.” — Bhaskar
Bhaskar began his history in 2004, still at age 12, when his first project with his twin brother Alok started. It all began as a hobby, but in a short time, they were already splitting their time between the studies and the studio. Son of renowned DJs Swarup and Ekanta, Bhaskar was inspired by his parents’ success and soon started to tour the world playing his music. Throughout his career, the Brazilian has collected a few hits to his name, including “Fuego” (145M+ Spotify streams) and “Infinity” (110M+ Spotify streams). His talents have led him to collaborate with and remix artists, including Tomorrowland resident Yves V, Moguai, Dubdogz, Wankelmut, Lucas Estrada, the Brazilian pop star Anitta and his brother Alok. Bhaskar has some more surprises up his sleeve, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
