Two 80s music legends have just dropped a musical bombshell that’s got fans buzzing! Erasure frontman Andy Bell and Blondie‘s iconic Debbie Harry have joined forces on “Heart’s A Liar,” an Electro-Pop gem that proves these superstars haven’t lost their touch. Most importantly, the track is from the British singer’s upcoming solo album, ‘Ten Crowns,’ which will be released on May 2nd.
Dream Collab Finally Happens
For Andy Bell, working with Harry is literally a dream come true. The song, a rewrite of a track by Luciana, explores two lovers who just can’t make it work despite their connection.
Lies are the ultimate expression of cruelty in love. They destroy relationships, and this tune speaks a lot about that in its lyrics. On top of that, Debbie Harry recorded her vocals during Gay Pride celebrations, which makes it even more special.
Plus, it’s catchy enough to haunt your thoughts, in the best way possible. Despite being decades into their careers, both artists deliver performances that feel fresh yet comfortably familiar to longtime fans.

Part of a Bigger Comeback
“Heart’s A Liar” follows several other well-received singles from Andy Bell’s forthcoming album, including the BBC Radio 2 playlisted “Don’t Cha Know,” “Dance For Mercy,” and “Breaking Thru The Interstellar.”
Interestingly, the complete ‘Ten Crowns’ album promises 10 tracks of dazzling, joyous Electro-Pop with influences spanning from Electronic music to Gospel.
The Sound of a Legend Returns
Andy Bell will be touring in 2025, bringing his new material to the stage. After a UK tour, he’ll hit venues across Europe, with newly announced North American dates giving fans across the pond a chance to experience these new jams live.
Lastly, this collaboration proves that when it comes to 80s music legends, the magic never really fades; it just finds new ways to shine.
