Nope, this is NOT a false alarm. Depeche Mode‘s new single “Where’s The Revolution” just leaked online, and I guarantee you’ll be 100% satisfied with this teaser. Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, and Andy Fletcher are still putting the finishing touches to the ‘Spirit’ album, due sometime in the spring.
It’s an important record thanks to James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco) and others. Gahan explains: “We’re pretty much finished apart from the track order. James came up with an order, and a few toys were thrown out of the pram.
Depeche Mode records are a prickly experience, but that’s what makes it interesting. We’re different people; we like different things and the difficult part is we don’t talk about it. James made Mart, and I face each other and talk some stuff out. It was quite emotional, but we cleared the air.
