Ambient tracks can also be scary. With this in mind, award-winning composer ANASIA delivers spooky atmospherics on her latest work, “Sounds Like FEAR”. As a matter of fact, her new instrumental piece is based on the music she wrote back in 2007 for the Horror short, ‘Sulphur for Leviathan’, directed by James Quinn. Best of all, she’s planning to drop the ‘BLURRED’ album in December, with the purpose of reimagining the film score. Of course, “Sounds Like FEAR” comes at the right time for Halloween!
Interestingly, ANASIA takes a new experimental approach to this version and emulates the surreal concept of the movie. Furthermore, its quiet nature is what truly provides a touch of suspense to the whole arrangement. Likewise, she proves there’s no need to use noisy effects when subtle sounds are even much more terrifying. Without further ado, this innovative artist invites listeners to explore the dark side of a slowly-evolving melody, which evokes feelings of intrigue and mystery. Enjoy it.
