Bam Richie Found His “SuperWoman” In New Music Video

Bam Richie Found His "SuperWoman" In New Music Video
Bam Richie
defines himself as an artist who is breaking down boundaries, and he is 100% right. Get ready to tap your feet with his latest single “SuperWoman”. Set on a funky melodic line, Bam puts his heart and soul while singing to this Hip-Hop/RnB tune. I love this track because it’s refreshingly different. You can expect nice beats and nice lyrics that address he is completely in love with his gal. More tunes like this one can be found on his self-entitled EP, which explores themes about ins & outs of relationships. The music video directed by Reggie B. shows how beautiful is the intimate interaction that ceases between the artist and the oft-mentioned “SuperWoman”. Watch it right here!

Metafour Embraces That Old-School Rap Style You Still Love!

Published

old-school rap style
Metafour
is a rapper from Queens who embraces an old-school rap style inspired by mainstream artists. He has been active in the urban scene for over 10 years. One of the songs you must listen to is called “Make A Move”. Here, he and singer Breanna Marin convey genuine emotions like never before. Together they display their romantic side too.

On first listen, this is what I call real Hip-Hop music. Somehow, it reminds me of those 90s slow jams you’ve probably missed in decades. Nowadays, it’s pretty understandable that a different type of music dominates the airwaves. However, Metafour preserves his creative ideas to do something different for nostalgic fans. Most importantly, he guarantees there’s more great music to come.

Just take in mind, Metafour doesn’t just rhyme words pretty well, he also has the ability to make you feel his angst with lyrical delivery. Certainly, the message of “Make A Move” revolves around overcoming adversity. In plain English, let go of whatever is hurting your heart. Check it out for yourself below.

Rising Artists From Chicago Thamatic & Taj McCoy Drop “Ultraviolet”

Rising Artists From Chicago Thamatic & Taj McCoy Drop "Ultraviolet"
Chicago is home to great rising artists. In the case of Thamatic and Taj McCoy, I think they’re ready for a major label deal. They joined forces to drop “Ultraviolet”, a tribute song honoring Ahmaud Arbery and George Perry Floyd. This would not have been possible without the collaboration of international producer Aman Dembla.

After the success of the EDM futuristic concept EP ‘The Cyberpunk Trilogy’, Thamatic decided to work with many artists from diverse musical backgrounds. Sincerely, “Ultraviolet” serves as a call to stop the violence and all forms of racism and hate at the present time. On a side note, it’s one of the hardest songs they’ve written during this pandemic.

You can expect a smooth intro with thought-provoking lyrics and haunting vocals, then Rap verses merge with hard-hitting beats. Obviously, the results speak for themselves. Socially conscious tracks like this one are as powerful as peaceful protests when it comes to spurring social change. Stream “Ultraviolet” in full via SoundCloud down here.

There's A New Hip-Hop Album From Kyle Oashu You Might Like
Here’s a new Hip-Hop album that brings into the limelight Kyle Oashu‘s versatility as a rapper. The lyrics on ‘I Just Want To See The Sun Again’ really hit hard as they deal with self-discovery and self-love. Furthermore, the indie artist from South Carolina delivers great messages with raw emotional power.

Definitely, his music is a response to the rapidly changing times,  where adaptation seems to be the key in order to survive. That’s exactly what he wants to showcase in all these 6 tracks. According to Kyle, this record is a statement about how he wants better days for himself and for the ones he loves. Well, this is not the first time he reflects originality in his compositions, I swear it’s 100% enjoyable.

Some Rappers And Their Hobbies

Some Rappers And Their Hobbies
The hobby can be categorized as a favorite passion that you can do outside of work. Just as we have hobbies and activities that we enjoy doing, so do musicians have or have had hobbies that they enjoy doing. I chose a few artists who have hobbies that are somewhat close to people who are not famous.

Lil Wayne is a skater

Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. known by his stage name Lil Wayne, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1991, at the age of nine, Lil Wayne joined Cash Money Records, being the youngest member of the record label, and being part of the duo The BG’z, along with rapper Lil ‘Doogie , also from New Orleans. In 1996, Lil Wayne formed the hip hop group Hot Boys with his colleagues at Cash Money Records: Juvenile, Young Turk and Lil ‘Doogie (who would change his name to B.G.).

Hot Boys debuted with Get It How U Live! in the same year. Lil Wayne gained much success with the album Guerrilla Warfare (1999). In addition to being a representative artist for Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne is the CEO of his own record label, Young Money Entertainment, which he founded in 2005.

One of Lil Wayne’s hobbies is skateboarding. The “Lollipop” rapper embraced the sport a few years ago and has since become very dedicated to practicing. He’s befriended several pro-skaters, attends skating events, and even skateboarded to the stage at the VMAs one year. Weezy also has a tattoo that reads “Baked” on his forehead, which is stylized after the Baker Skateboards logo. In October 2012 he opened up the skate park Trukstop in his hometown of New Orleans.

50 Cent likes gambling

50 Cent is an American rapper, real name Curtis James Jackson III, born in Queens (New York). He became known worldwide for his debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin ‘, which, along with his second album, won numerous awards. After releasing the album “Guess Who’s Back?” in 2002, 50 cents was discovered by Eminem and he signed with Interscope Records.

With the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre – who produced his first major commercial success – he became one of the best-selling rappers in the world. In 2003, he founded his record label G-unit Records, where he signed successful artists such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.

50 Cent often says that working in the studio, creating new hits is tiresome. Casino and sports betting are great ways of relaxation. Being an ardent fan of the New York Giants, he bet on them in 2012 when they played against the San Francisco 49ers. Not long after, his passion for slots and betting appeared in the press, with all his fans finding out about his hidden hobbies.

DMX and his bugs

Earl Simmons best known by his stage name DMX (also known as Dog Man X and Dark Man X) is an American rapper and actor. In 1999, he released his best album … And Then There Was X, which included the hit “Party Up (Up in Here)”. He has appeared in several films such as: Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave and Last Hour. In 2006, he starred in the reality TV series DMX: Soul of a Man. In 2003, DMX published a memoir entitled, E.A.R.L .: The Autobiography of DMX.

Yes, you read that right. DMX and bugs. Now, we’re not talking about cutesy ladybugs plush toys (although that would be just as weird) we’re talking about real live bugs. Either way, DMX is big into his entomology, which if you didn’t know is the study of insects and their relationship to humans.

Ice-T is a gamer

Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known as the Ice-T scene, is an American rapper, singer and actor. He began his career as an underground rapper in the 1980s and was signed to Sire Records in 1987, when he released his debut album Rhyme Pays; the second hip-hop album to carry an explicit content sticker after Slick Rick’s La Di Da Di. The following year, he founded the record label Rhyme $yndicate Records and released another album, Power, which went on to go Platinum. He also released several other albums that went Gold.

Hip hop exploded at the same time that video games really took off, so it’s no real surprise that rappers are in their video games. But Ice-T, well into his games. If you don’t believe us, check out his Twitter feed where almost every second tweet is “Gamer Stuff”, as he calls it.

He is also a champion of the gaming community and recently called those players who give the genre a bad name.

Each rapper or to be more specific each star has one or more hobbies both common and a little weirder. Thus they distinguish themselves from everyday and busy life.
