Britney Spears
is back, y’all – and girl is serving some serious dancefloor vibes with her new single! “Hold It Against Me” got those big, bouncing beats that’ll have you clawing at your speakers from the first listen. It’s the perfect soundtrack for cutting loose after a long week.

Produced by the one and only hitmaker Dr. Luke along with Max “Mr. Pop” Martin, this track has smash written all over it. Those hard-hitting synths just tug at your body until you have no choice but to move. And our girl Britney – her vocals are as fiery and fierce as ever over the pulsing rhythm. You can tell she’s having so much fun with this one.

What really caught my ear on this first listen though was those Dubstep influences woven throughout. Britney’s always been ahead of the curve when it comes to pushing Pop in new directions and playing with that wub-wub bass drops her sound firmly into 2011. It’s such a cool contrast to her signature high-energy choruses.

Whether you’re busting moves at the club this weekend or just playing it on repeat in your headphones, “Hold It Against Me” is guaranteed to get you hyped. And if this taste of what’s to come on her still-untitled new album is any indication, Britney might have her biggest era yet on our hands. The Princess of Pop is well and truly back – and we are so here for her sound and moves in 2011!
