Carnage has returned to his roots today with the release of his first EDM track of the year, “Blitzkrieg”, feat. Nazaar. The heavy-hitting, rapid-fire track showcases the best of the heavyweight legend’s signature sounds with heavy bass complemented with mechanical synths at a decidedly heart-pounding pace. The crown jewel of “Blitzkrieg” comes in the form of its vocal interlude, which is half-inspiring and half-irreverent, but above all, encourages Carnage’s legion of loyal listeners to be themselves despite societal pressures. “Blitzkrieg” follows Carnage’s release of hip-hop tracks over the past year via EMPIRE/Heavyweight. His previous tracks “Wait For Me” ft. G-Eazy, Wiz Khalifa and “Letting People Go” ft. Prinze George received the attention of Complex, TIME, Entertainment Weekly and countless others.

Carnage, who is based in Las Vegas, established himself as the reigning champion of Festival Trap and Hard Bass music with early hits, later becoming one of the first artists to transition electronic music into hip-hop, rap and urban styles. Carnage founded his label, Heavyweight Records, in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, he has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint. After taking a break from music in 2018 to focus on his mental health, he is now returning to his EDM roots with “Blitzkrieg.”
Nazaar is a rising Arab artist who took his name from the Urdu word for “evil eye.” The El Paso based producer creates dark, vibrant melodies grounded in traditional Arab and Pakistani styles, built up with complex, aggressive synths and broken down with bone-shattering bass. From creating music in a small room at boarding school to having his tracks played out at some of the largest dance music festivals in the world, Nazaar’s natural talent is undeniable. His music continues to keep listeners intrigued and engaged. He released an official remix for The Chainsmokers’ “Sick Boy” via Columbia Records and, just recently, dropped “The Legacy” EP on Never Say Die Records.

4 Multi-Genre Remixes Of Nicky Romero & Sick Individuals’ “Only For You”
Following Nicky Romero and Sick Individuals‘ recent collaboration “Only For You” featuring XIRA, they have just dropped four brand new remixes of this progressive vocal gem. First up is Canadian band Tennyson, which Nicky has been following for some time and privately enjoyed their music. The result is a genuinely unique, live vocal redo, fusing both male and female vocal parts for a raw and indie Downtempo rendition of the original. Bass Modulators flip the switch back to dance music with their Hardstyle version, which delivers heart-pounding basslines and triumphant synths perfect for getting your shuffle on. To round things out, Futuristic Polar Bears lend their Big Room sound to “Only For You” to make you imagine you’re on the mainstage at a festival, then Low Blow finalizes the EP with undulating basslines and groovy House melodies. Out now on Protocol, the “Only For You” remix package shows more up-and-coming talent from the Protocol crew.
After taking the world by storm with early hits such as ‘Legacy’ (with Krewella) and #1 single ‘I Could Be The One’ (with Avicii), Nicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. While showcasing his label’s roster via his weekly Protocol Radio show, Nicky Romero continues to innovate and evolve during these unprecedented times in the music industry. He debuted his ultra-modern “Another World” live stream concept this summer and announced the Monocule alter-ego. If quarantine has proved anything, it’s that the Protocol crew is never one to slack on new music, so keep an eye out for what’s next!

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike + R3HAB = “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”
Just in time to cure the winter blues, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike + R3HAB team up to put a spin on a classic with their rework of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.“ The three all-star producers infuse the original’s singsong melodies with a deep, groovy bassline and percussive synths during the chorus, complementing the dance-friendly vibes with distorted vocals. “With this song we’re continuing to spread a positive message through our music, that hopefully brings people together in a time of divide. This year has been turbulent for everybody. Not only because of the pandemic, but also because of the systemic racism that has finally been brought to light. We felt it was time to spread some love and give the people something positive to listen to. We want our fans to know that we love them no matter what skin color, religion, sexuality or gender. We believe in a world where everybody is treated equally and where you can live together in our differences, that’s what makes us all beautiful.”

John Lynx is no stranger to producing euphoric basslines and emotional-filled masterpieces. With that in mind, the Chicagoan producer joins forces with Sergi Yaro to blow up the speakers once again. Effectively, “Dreams” is the kind of pop-centric EDM paired with excellent vocal hooks that help you stay motivated. If you think pursuing one’s dreams is important and necessary in life, then this new electronic anthem will move your soul to the highest vibration level.
The Tiesto and Armin van Buuren’s influence is notable on “Dreams” but it truly stands alone with its solid soundscape. Additionally, listeners can feel the striking climax right when the beats drop.
