Coldplay Stop Making Music, But Crush Of Souls Is Here To Rock!

Published

on

Rumours were true, Coldplay stop making music and leave fans eager to discover new bands in 2025. My top recommendation is Crush Of Souls as they’ve got so much to offer with their mix of synths and dark Industrial elements.

Sure, this isn’t an Alt Rock band, it’s more Electro-Pop, but their recent single, “Cult Of Two” will instantly remind you of the early ’80s Depeche Mode era. Besides, it’s worth mentioning this is just a teaser of what their album, ‘LÉZIRE,’ will be, set to release on March 21 via AVANT! Records.

Post-Punk Perfected: Inside Crush Of Souls’ Vision

Crush Of Souls was born in France and is a project inspired by the sounds of Post-Punk and New Wave. Clearly, if you’re over 50, you’ll get that dose of nostalgia when you hear their melodies.

At the same time, if you’re a Millennial like me, you’ll quickly get hooked on their top-notch style and visual aesthetics. For example, the “Cult Of Two” video has a hallucinatory tone that will keep your eyes glued to the screen.

Who would have imagined that a band with three leading figures would be on everyone’s lips in the first half of 2025?…

Led by Charles Rowell, who’s also a member of other bands like Crocodiles and Flowers of Evil, you can expect something vintage with a contemporary touch.

Music Reset: Why Crush Of Souls Is Your Next Obsession

It’s official! Coldplay stop making music. This was confirmed by lead singer Chris Martin during an interview on BBC Radio 2. That said, the band still plans to keep performing live.

Indeed, their final album, ‘Alphabetica,’ will reportedly include some unreleased gems.

But, if this is the year you’re looking to hit reset on your life, you can do the same with your music taste. Pop music with electronic nuances is a great way to feel refreshed and recharged.

Give Crush Of Souls a shot and stay tuned for more surprises and announcements by connecting with them below.
