Crystal Castles takes listeners on a surreal journey with their latest video for “Not In Love,” a hypnotic Electro-Pop ballad that blurs the lines between reality and illusion.
The track, a haunting cover of a 1983 song by Platinum Blonde, features the unmistakable vocals of Robert Smith, legendary frontman of The Cure, adding an extra layer of emotional depth to the song.
His eerie, melancholic voice blends perfectly with Crystal Castles’ dark, synth-heavy sound, creating a truly eargasmic experience for anyone who listens.
The music video, directed by Nic Brown, enhances the track’s dreamlike quality with its trippy visuals, making viewers feel like they’re caught in a hallucination. Between the pulsing beats, haunting vocals, and mesmerizing imagery, “Not In Love” is a sonic and visual trip that you’ll want to experience over and over again.
If you’re a fan of Robert Smith or Electro-Pop with a dark edge, this one’s for you!
