An old Ford Focus TV commercial featured breakbeat tunes of renowned Detroit Techno master Juan Atkins. The advertisement broadcasted on November 11th, 2000. With Techno music moving beyond the underground club scene, Ford brings back the origins of this cutting-edge music style by utilizing Atkin’s track “No UFOs.” The thirty-second Detroit Techno spot premiered on MTV Networks and aired for one month on major networks and cable television.
